FAQ
Q: Are your pumps cheaper than those of your competitors?
A: CNBM aims to give its customers the highest standards of quality and service and delivery times, all at a reasonable price.
Q: Do you have self-priming pumps?
A: Yes, our product portfolio also includes two ranges of self-priming pumps: self-priming electric pumps and self-priming side channel pumps.
Q: Is it really necessary to fit a bleed valve for the boxes?
A: It is always best to have a bleed valve as the gas produced by the fermenting sewage is potentially hazardous.
Q: If I increase the power of the motor, must I also increase the power of the inverter?
A: You must select the size of converter that allows maximum absorption of the electric motor.
Q: Do you have pumps with grinders?
A: Yes, the WQ models.
Q: How long is your warranty?
A: Unless otherwise expressly authorized in writing, by specifying a longer period or different conditions, CNBM states that, for a period of twelve (12) months from delivery date, all Products supplied are free from defects in materials and workmanship, and conform to the applicable specifications. Either the delivery documentation or the invoice must be provided to prove delivery date. In absence of such documents, the production date appearing on the product label may suffice.
- Q: My truck has been over heating, and I cant figure out whats going on...the only thing that gets really hot is the upper radiator hose, and the radiator....I just noticed there was a plug unhooked from the water pump, what does that do? Or maybe it could be the thermostat? It just overheats, and when I park it, it wont start half the time, usually I can let it cool off and go, but sometimes it just dies and I have to let it cool off and jump it off.
- Based on what you said about it overheating and the upper radiator hose and radiator being the only hot parts, it is definantly a thermostat issue.
- Q: I have a big garden ,I have plant all kinds of flowers, including roses,Chrysanthemum, but everyday i have to water them one after one pot,a little waste time and waste my energy.who can help me ?tks
- you can set up a water drip system..with small lines going to each pot..and then all you have to do is turn on the water ..you can get them pretty cheap at any garden store...or take a garden hose and lay it out where the plants are and go along and poke a small hole or two by each pot so the water sprays the plants...or just get a sprinkler ...
- Q: Our water pump was really warm/hot to the touch, our hot water was more warm than hot, and wouldnt heat up enough to get hot, and it wouldn't turn off. (like when it starts up when you turn on the water,it just kept going, and wouldn't stop) so, because it was hot, and going constantly, we didn't want it to explode, or burn out, so we turned it off, and now I'm hoping that when we turn it back on after it cools, that it'll go back to turning on/off intermittently, instead of constantly. So, after it cools down, will it go back to normal, instead of just constantly going??!?
- I assume you have a water well pump. The experience I have had, is it will come back on once the thermal safety switch cools down. However, I think you still have work here to do because each time this happens, you are shortening the life of your pump. First you need to determine why it ran hot to begin with. Could be lots of reasons, but just to name a few. -Is your water tank in good shape, with the correct air pressure? -Is the tank waterlogged, too old or leaking? -Any leaks in the service in or to the house? -Is your contact switch working properly, clean contacts, good wire, good connections, breaker etc.? -Is there water running somewhere your not aware of? -Last but not least, the check valve and foot valve leading to the well could also be defective. Just my opinion, I hope this helps to get you thinking. Good luck; flip;
- Q: I need to get my timing belt and water pump replaced, its been 100,000 km , just wondering, what exactly these things do, i want to know more about my car, and just how much this would cost to take care of, my dealership says almost a 1000, including labour, does this seem right.
- Never get a dealership to work on your car unless you're not paying for it. Get a good garage to do it for you instead. If you're mechanically inclined you might be able to do it yourself, but im not sure how hard it is since it sounds like your timing belt powers your waterpump (just makes it more difficult, whereas my car has a separate belt that powers my WP). Otherwise you got a honda engine in there it sounds like, so it's not going to be insanely complicated.
- Q: What is the relationship between pump power, lift and flow?
- When the power is constant, the kinetic energy theorem is known as P=F*V, that is, W=F*S.In the water pump, it is said that the work done by the unit time pump = the gravity of the water flow * the displacement of the waterIt can be seen that:1, the power is certain, the head and the flow is inversely proportional.2, the greater the power, the greater the product of the head and flow. Therefore, when the flow is minimum, the pump head is the maximum; when the head is the minimum, the flow is the maximum.
- Q: I replaced the water pump on my 350 chevy small block with a new water pump and the thing is leaking out of the lower bolt hole on the passenger side. I was told to remove the bolt and coat it with permatex hi tack gasket sealer and reinstall it Any how I'm wondering why there would be a leak there in the first place, any ideas?
- i would try getting a new gasket and make sure you seal it really good and make sure the bolts are tightened really good
- Q: Hi -- could someone please give me information on how much I should expect to pay for a water pump and to cleanse my coolant system (or something like that) or if it's something I really need to do. Or if I can get the water pump without the coolant system...My car is running fine, just started making kind of a rough running sound a few weeks ago when it's idling. ANY advice is greatly appreciated!

- Q: i have a 99 Mitsubishi Eclipse and my Car started to leak water and as soon as i start to put water it starts to leak and it wont take in the water that has on the side as well. what should i do or what do you recommend?
- You did not mention the sub-model of your eclipse (if it is a spyder or not) so there is no way to know the engine option, the2.0L (non-turbo) the 2.0L (turbo) or the 2.4L? But you don't have too many options! If the water runs out of it as soon as you put it in then obviously you cannot drive it or you will do further damage to the vehicle. You need to be able to see where it is coming from (as it shouldn't be too hard by the amount it is leaking. If the water is coming out from behind the timing cover then there is an issue with the pump, but, as the other poster said, it may also be a split hose!
- Q: Whats the difference between a faulty water pump and head gasket? The coolant reservoir has a quot;bubblingeffect when the car is running. I just changed the radiator and filled it. Most of whats in the radiator is water honestly. The car sounds a little rough and sputtery like a head gasket. The spark plugs are dry and I took the cover off and nothing looked watery or moisturous. I also had to change the head and head gasket a month ago. The head gasket didn't have any damage to it so I assumed the head was bad. I used a new head gasket also. Anything else I can check? The car is a 91 corolla.
- If you had a faulty water pump, your car would overheat. Check to see what's blowing out of your exhaust pipe. If you have any smoke coming out of there WHILE you're driving, you have a faulty head gasket or it was installed improperly. Are you losing coolant? If so you might want to by a kit that can determine if you have a head gasket leaking or a cracked block or head. You also could have air in the system and need to bleed the cooling system.
- Q: How do you check water pump on 98 deville haveing overhea?
- You can't really check the water pump except that with the belt off, you wiggle it to look for play in the bearing. When the bearing gets loose, it causes seal failure and massive coolant loss. But after 100k miles it is time to do the pump anyway. Not that hard or expensive. Do the thermostat as well, just in case. But if no coolant loss, then overheating is probably from something else, like bad plug wire, intake manifold leak, plugged catalytic converter, retarded ignition, head gasket, etc. If the radiator was not clear, then the electric fan would go on often. Not likely radiator. Depends also on when heats up. If city driving, then likely to be fan or switch. If highway driving, then plugged convertor more likely. Put cooling system pressure tester on radiator cap. Check for leaks under higher than normal pressure. See if holds pressure. Then start engine and see if cylinder leak causes oscillation.
