Q: How to convert kVA (kilo-volt Ampere) to kg/h (kilogram per hour) for diesel generator set (genset)? I want to know the relation about the energy produced (kVA) to the fuel that used (kg/h) in the genset, either it used more diesel fuel or not. i.e the kVA amount produced is 106kVA and the rpm is 1500rpm
You cannot convert KVA to kg/hr. KVA is a unit for power (rated capacity) and kg/hr is the unit for mass flow rate. There is no direct relation between them.
Q: How many Panels would I need to make sure that I cover my 1600 kwH? I actually want to try and generate about 3000 so I can sell back to the grid.
1600 kwH would be about 50 kwh per day (1600/32) so if the sun shined very nicely you would need about 150 kw capacity for an 8 hours of sun day or 200 kw for a 6 hour day. (24 hours in day / 6 of sun * 50 kwh per day) Your supply source or the weather bureau should be able to supply the number of sun hours at various times of the year and the capacity of various panels.

The earthquake made the Nuclear power plants shut down automatically, which shut off everything. So the reactor couldn't cool it self with water. Because of this, it overheated, the power plant exploded, causing radiation to leek out. I tried to explain this as best as I could. You should read a news article about it, because I just wrote down what I heard. Which might not be 100%

Q: I know that various types of locomotive's produce different amount of horse power. Here's the question: A single locomotive (any type) about what would be the average speed it could gain in 0 to 4 seconds on take off. Any smart A** answer will be reported for abuse, Thank you.
Others here with more knowledge on diesel locomotive mechanics and operations can give a better answer but because most diesel locomotives, particularly road-switchers, are not rated/geared to accelerate that quickly in that small amount of time (now an electric locomotive is an entirely different story), I would guess no faster than between 10-20mph in the timeframe you noted, 0-4 seconds. Perhaps something like an EMD E-series locomotive (which is rated for speed carrying passengers) could make the best time but again, I would guess no better than maybe 20 mph in 0-4 seconds.

Contact several local electrical contractors in your area to get some design build estimates. The size is a small consideration rather the durable type of generator you need that can run as a quiet unit for many years is a problem. The best solution is probably 2 or 3 medium size generators that can be run in a parallel configuration. 5 units to power might be as little as 100 amps each so 500 amps at 240 volts is about a 120KW so 3 units of 40 KW each might be a consideration. Using multiple units will allow maintenance on one unit and not lose power. For prices the electrical contractor in your area will know more about what the labor rates are for this type of project. I will give AWAG that $10,000 per KW is not too far off.

Q: I am designing the system to produce electricity for a computer room with 40 PC and 40 LCD screens. The needed power is about 15 KW (20 hp). My system consists of a compressor, a compressed air tank, a turbocharger and a mini gas turbine. I will talk a little bit about the operation: the air is released from the tank and driven by ducting system to turbocharger, at which the air flow is through turbocharger and run turbine to produce electricity. I have searched in internet many times about the turbine but still have no fit one. Can anybody suggest me one? And the turbocharger too if you don't mind. I really need all the details about both of them for calculations.
This is a very inefficient way to produce electricity. Where are you getting the power to run the compressor? Use that to run the computers. Or use that charge batteries that will run an inverter. Or use a diesel generator. .
