Q: I am installing a chair rail in a room with a window. When my chair rail meets the window, should I run it right below the window trim? Or should I give it some room between the rail and the trim of the window. Q: I have received a swivel chair, but it is too low to be used at my desk... I don't want to put a cushion on it because it is a massaging and heating one lol..: It would help to see the chair. I dont believe that part controls the height of the chair. Typically it is a gas cylinder with either a leaver under the seat or piece of the seat. There are chairs that you spin to adjust height but considering your chair is massaging and heating, i would assume it is raised and lowered with the gas cylinder. If the gas cylinder is not working it may not be making a good connection. (when you pull the lever it pushes a button on the top of the gas cylinder which causes it to raise/lower) If you put the chair together yourself I would make sure that the gas cylinder is pushed all the way into the under chair bracket. Otherwise contact the manufacturer and they should send you the replacement part.

Q: Chair came from the Blackrock Hotel in Cohasset, ma after it was demolished 40+ yrs ago. They are no signatures or dates on it.: Hotel chairs are usually mass produced, so there will be thousands of them, unless they were custom to that hotel, then there were only a few. Further research will give you some sort of an answer. Or, find a high end antique store and ask their opinion as to the uniqueness of the chair.

I can do the baby freeze but when i try to go into a chair freeze i just fall. i try to put my leggs back from a baby freeze into a chair freeze but i just collapse. help?: A chair freeze is where you stab one elbow into your gut and sit sidewards on it, it's very simple and you can start of with using two hands with one to support you, and also don't put one leg over the other till you can balance. But to be honest I can't tell if you're describing a basic chair freeze or an airchair.

Q: There's a chair my grandma got at a garage sale, so its always been in really bad shape, but my dads been attached to it ever since she passed. The springs are starting to cut through the bottom of the chair and the filler (the stuff that gives the chair cushion) is beginning to go with it.
