Q: Office Chairs: I am looking good chair that is comfortable to sit in, will not hurt my back, easy to roll across my desk area. I have sat in the Herman Miller chair and really like them..don't think my boss will go for the $800+ price tag on it though. My desk is kind of low so my arm rest right now kind of get in the way. Q: I have heavy aluminium chairs around a table on my outdoor patio, see http://www.norths .za/cat6.php?catID=7 My patio floor comprises unglazed tile, and the chairs are hard to pull out to sit on and once seated, to slide toward the table. The ends of the legs are round +- 18mm (3/4 inches). I have tried felt pads - no good - they wear away in days. I have tried hard plastic caps - a little better - but still difficult to move.What can I do to allow the chairs to slide easily.: Have you considered casters(rollers) They should be available for 3/4 legs.

Q: Anyone else does this? After about 10-15 minutes of sitting on a chair, I notice my butt is right on the edge, so I have to stand up and sit again properly. Getting very annoying.: most likely cuz your original 'sit' is not proper...you are suppose to sit with your tailbone against the back of the chair, not on the seat of the chair...most of us sit with the tailbone on the seat cuz we'll feel foolish to sit like a 2y/o with our feet up in the air since the cushion's depth fits a 6'8 male thigh...once you sit with your tailbone on the seat, your upper trunk posturing is actually behind the line of gravity...so then our shoulders blades start slowly adding more pressure, therefore more pressure curvature to the lower spine, gravity starts to slowly pull you down until your almost anything but falling off the seat...sit upright, like your mom bopped you on the head for a million one times..in those real deep chairs, ya need an extra cushion behind you until manufacturers start getting sued over their dysfunctional setup of chairs sofas...we think we're comfortable there, but it ruins everyone's back...car seats are not an exception either....

Q: what company sponsors or who created them and everything about them i need to know MILLER might be one im not sure how would i sell this i need ideas on office chairs: Well, I don't know if this will help you any but I work in an office and spend a lot of time sitting down. It would be nice to have a chair that has adjustable lumbar support, the kind made out of the microfoam like the new mattresses that have been recently marketed - you know the kind that conform to your body. This way if the back of the chair is adjusted to support your upper back, the lumbar is not over looked. Currently, I have only seen office chairs that support one or the other but not both at the same time. Also, current markets have chairs that massage or vibrate. These are extremely costly and who wants to plug in their chair to an electical outlet or recharge its batteries. I am thinking that if there were a way to create a warming or cooling sensation this might assist with the blood circulation and may be relaxing too. Just a thought. Hope this helps.

Q: i bought this zebra chair from Rooms to Go but i realized that i dont want to do the zebra theme anymore. i want to try and reupholster this chair with a lilac cotton fabric, but I dont know how. HELP!This is what the chair looks like:: Take careful notes of how the old fabric and stuffing etc. comes off and then put the new fabric back the same way.
