- Q: ok so i was really pissed this morning at my parents and i was like throwing things around, slamming doors, etc.. and when i got up from sitting at a kitchen chair i kind of slammed it on the ground too hard and one of the legs broke off.. - She likely will figure out pretty quickly you switched chairs and that will only add to the heat. Especially if the chairs are not the same make. Your best bet is to say you got up and accidently knocked the chair over and it broke. Being up front is going to suck but its the best way. Pull the bait and switch with the chairs and it will come back on you in a MUCH bigger way....
- Q: It kills me that it seems like my son can only find comfort in his vibrating chair. He loves the bouncing motion, and that is often the only way I can get him to settle down. He is now 6 weeks old, we started putting him in this chair at about one week of age when dealing with his colic at night. It really worked to help settle him down. I am happy that his colic seems to be getting better by the day, but now I can't seem to get him out of the chair. I would love to have a baby that found comfort in my arms, and not a chair. I am always close by and sing and talk to him while he is in the chair, rub his belly, play with him and such. He also always has his bottles in my arms. But other than that, his tummy time, and a few hours that he sleeps in his crib, he is in the chair. Is this normal, does any one else have this situation?
- Well look at it this way he is getting some relief from his bouncy chair and that's great because colic is very uncomfortable for poor little babies! Also Im sure once he gets a bit older all he will want is to be held and carried around and then you will look back and think man I wish he still loved that chair lol. - Q: I don't want to buy one online, I want to get one at Target, Fred Meyer, etc. You know one of those chairs that rock back and forth, rumbles, has surround sound, and plugs into the game system (wii). Preferably under $70. Know where I can get one? Please add a link if you can.
- Those gaming chairs are so cheap and they fall apart so quickly that I would not recommend getting one at all. I would actually recommend buying a cheap computer chair and the cheap wal-mart surround sound system and hooking it up underneath. It will give you the same experience but with way more comfort.

- If the wood hasn't been sealed, the splits could actually be checks - which are natural splits in the wood. The wood should still be very sturdy and durable. Even if you are placing the chair under a covered patio, I would recommend cleaning the chair off with soap and water and sanding any rough spots. After it is definitely dried, use Wolman FP stain/sealer or just the sealer. It is a fantastic brand and you do not have to apply every year. We use it on our outdoor furniture and are happy that we do not have to re-apply every year!
