Q: I found this chair sitting in our garage for about a year now and I want to put it in my bedroom. The problem is that its kinda dirty.. Its like a cream color but it has dark marks on the arms its from my uncles tools. It's not a leather or recliner chair its just a regular sitting chair. I just want to get the dark black marks out of it so I can make it look nice in my bedroom. plus it smells a little.. The tips would greatly be appreciated.. THANK YOU!!
I buy a cleaner at Walmart, Dollar General or Dollar Tree that should work on your chair. It is called LA's Totally AWESOME. It comes in gallon jug, 1/2 gallon or a spray bottle. It's a yellow color liquid. It is very cheap and can be used to clean many things. Use it straight, do not mix with water. I have used it for years on many things and LOVE IT~!!! .....please do not use bleach on the chair.
Q: Ive read before the benefits of doing it in a chair but i cant find them now. Does anyone know what its like to do it in a chair and what the benefits are? Is better than the bed or no?
you are sick, get a life you minger
Q: There are some chairs at office depot that has this feature. I plan on buying one for moderate home usage. They state that you should lower the tension for lighter people and raise the tension for heavier people. But exactly how does the feature help prolong th elife of the chair. I am actually neither heavy or light in weight. And i want to prolong the life as long as possible.

Q: Has anyone ever gotten a little dizzy when your dentist raises your chair back up ? It only lasts a few seconds but I was wondering what was causing it to happen :)
It could be because you've been laying down, and when the chair is raised, you are suddenly getting more blood to your brain. Sometimes called a head-rush. Best thing to do is just stay upright in the chair for a minute or two before getting up and walking away. If it happens frequently, and in other circumstances, you should discuss it with your doctor.
Q: Just purchased 10 ladder back country chairs from a not so clean house. The chairs have a straw design I guess for the seat? The design comes in on all four sides. The straw looks like rope to me just very old and dirty. The chairs are old but could be beautiful again. They are in excellent condition from what I can see, just dirty and smoked up. Can someone that knows about old furniture please help me. I do not want to mess these chairs up by doing something I shouldn't. I planned on putting murphy's oil soap in very warm water and give them a good cleaning. What would you perfer I use. I've been looking for these chairs for along time. It was hard trying to find 10 chairs all the same size and color. Thanks
Try Murphys Oil Soap. That is what I use on my Kitchen Cabinets. Also Lowes sells a special chemical just for wooden Kitchen Cabinets.
Q: I have a single chair that has been in the family forever. There is a piece of paper glued to the bottom indicating it was produced sometime around 1750. the name Armstrong is stamped into the bottom of the chair. I am looking for any information on this particular chair or manufacturer.
is it African wood? Is it upholstered?? If so, it could be worth about $500+ depending on the condition - try eBay or goggle to see if you can find any antique dealers, or call your local antique shops, If it's an Armstrong chair, it's worth something - if the paper is a signature, it's probably made by the craftsman whose name was Armstrong - Is it a scrolly stamp?
Q: where can i get one of these chairs?
It depends whether you want to buy online or at stores. Also what state you live in because some states might not have that particular chair. 1)For online you can always check on Ebay or Amazon, I provided websites for the exact chair you are talking about. 2) At stores I think it is rare to find, or just not labeled on the websites. It is probably at my best guess at the furniture store. I would first go to your local furniture store and ask them if they have Aarnio-Eero-Style-BALL-CHAIR-White-shel... Red interior They will locate it for you. If you want to just buy it online than just follow the two websites that I provided which is from Ebay or on Amazon whichever you like better. Hope this helps
Q: The chair is very sticky and smells very bad. I wish to clean it, but I cant just vacuum or wipe it down to get rid of the smell. Any ideas?
The same way you clean any fiber product. Liquid cleaning chemicals, agitation, removal of soil, removal of cleaning chemicals, dry time... Laundry detergent works great on most fiber products. Dissolve a little in water to create a cleaner that just won't allow you to snap your fingers. Scrub it into the fiber using a scrubber that is less-tough than the fiber itself. You want a scrubber that will move the fibers without damaging them. Then, using a small wet vac, suck up the loosened soil and moisture. Follow that with a scrubbing of a mixture of 1/8 cup of plain white vinegar mixed in 1 quart of water, to break down the cleaner for removal. If you dip your hand in the cleaner mix, then dip your hand in this mix, you should be able to snap your fingers again, if not, add a little more vinegar, you wasted detergent in your cleaning mix. Repeat this one more time with plain water Suck that up with the vac and let it dry completely. After it drys completely, you can repeat the procedure until it's as clean as you like. Note: Never soak a fiber that has a backing. Most backings usually break down to some degree when wetted, and take along time to dry. A scrubber can be anything from a towel to a brush. If it has abrasive qualities that will not harm the material, it can be used, including your fingernails. And... don't be fooled by the dry cleaners... water is necessary to flush out soils... it's the #1 solvent on earth, and chemicals simply make water wetter... Last note... this works for carpet spills also, all my old Clients have 1 gallon wet vacs under their kitchen sinks.
Q: The styling chair model is a CC-1808T from CCI Beauty. I want to be able to seperate the top from the base. Does anyone have a chair like this? Is there a way to seperate the two?
most of them chairs will have a gas power push up in the base but all of that section should just unscrew from under the seat. You have to get down and dirty on the floor to see. be brave a pull back any covering.
Q: What are your views on the electric chair? Good or bad?Or lelthal ejection?
I don't believe in lethal punishment, but I also don't believe in luxury accommodations for murderers. Somehow, we should figure a way to put the all on an island together away from everyone else and away from all hope of escape. Feed them K-rations, no TV, no Internet, and no conjugal visits. Give them a few musical instruments and some books.
