Q: I am getting married this October and I'm having my reception in a banquet hall...it's very nice and of course they provide white tableclothes for their round tables but their chairs are like an ugly pinkish color...I'm wanting to get some white chair covers to cover them up and make it look more elegant. The banquet hall recommended a place that they use and I guess the people come out and steam the covers on the chairs so they aren't wrinkled and they have a display out at the hotel we are having the reception at and they are really nice but they are $6 a chair cover and I'm having over 200 guests at my wedding and I don't want to be spending that kind of money on just chair covers. Just wanted to know if any of you have ever ordered chair covers online that you can rent? I found a website where you can rent them and they are only like $1 or $2 for each chair cover, but I hate to order them and they come and are are really wrinkled and don't even look nice...any of you done this?
I have a similar situation and my banquet hall also charges $6/chair cover. I've already included it as one of my wedding costs - but I agree it's a rip off. If you want to buy the $2 chair covers I would ask a friend to help you coordinate this on your wedding day. Keep in mind that they will probably come folded and will all need to be pressed. Decide if saving the $800 is worth ironing 200 chair covers and putting them on the chairs on your wedding day.
Q: i was looking at the korum ruckbag, with doesnt seem too expensive but the chair which is compatible with it is very expensive. Can i use any chair with the ruckbag?
Tom- what a neat product, looking at the links available, the sack just clips on at a certain height. Of course not ANY chair would work, but if there is clearance at that particular height where the clips are on the sack, and there was nothing to interfere with it on the chair, I don't see why it wouldn't The interesting thing is that any chair you would use would go between you and the sack, which of course is counter intuitive. There is another chair called the Nash Nomad, those work well too, heres the link
Q: This is my dream chair lt;3 I want to hang it in my room, wouldn't that be so cool?! But the problem is, the cheapest one I've found is 800$ online. Does anyone have one? If so where did you get it, how much was it, and what do you think about it? I am a teen girl with no job so I don't have a lot of money, so if anyone finds one for less than 600$, please let me know.If you have no idea what I'm talking about

Q: its soo annoying. I can do the baby freeze but when i try to go into a chair freeze i just fall. i try to put my leggs back from a baby freeze into a chair freeze but i just collapse. help?
A chair freeze is where you stab one elbow into your gut and sit sidewards on it, it's very simple and you can start of with using two hands with one to support you, and also don't put one leg over the other till you can balance. But to be honest I can't tell if you're describing a basic chair freeze or an airchair.
Q: it is the Fully-Reclinable Chair with Zero Gravity Technologyit is from a magazine called seventh avenue. it cost $299, $25 a month. (plz dont say something like
My son LOVES his bouncy chair. It also vibrates and and has colorful toys and music. I dislike swings very much because you can only use them for a few weeks and they are expensive. Once your child becomes too heavy, it won't swing. I have a bouncy chair that converts into a toddler rocking chair and I can use it until my son is 2-3 years old... I like spending my money wisely. Good luck
Q: I bought a dining set out of the penny-saver several years ago but it only came with 4 chairs. It hasn't been a problem because I didn't like to entertain before but now I do and I can't find any chairs to match the existing ones. It's cherry wood and traditional looking and I'm planning on going with the country theme in the room when I paint it. We also always leave the leaf in it (the table is 7 X 3.5 '). Painting it is not an option. And neither is buying a brand new dining set.
This sounds exactly like me a year ago. I also purchased a dining room table that only came with 4 chairs, but there are 5 of us so i knew i would have a problem, but bought it anyway. When coming up with your country theme colors you can always purchase two extra chairs, inexpensive straight backs and paint them and leave them against the walls when not entertaining. I also have a country home, and chose colors in the red family. When i completed the painting of the room, I picked the darkest color i had used, and went about 4 shades even darker to paint the chairs. They turned out beautiful, that people ask me where i got such a great dining room set.
Q: A friend of mine has a chair we are trying to find some information on. Maybe someone on here knows what period it came from? Sorry, I don't have a picture, but maybe I can describe it well enough. The back is short...on an average height person the highest part of the back would come to your lower neck. It has, oddly, cherubs with what look like breasts on either side of the back...their faces are full front but their bodies are side views. it has lots of scroll leaf type carvings, and the seat is also carved. It's a solid dark wood. The most puzzling part is the legs...there are only two. one in front and one in back that are really just flat pieces of wood that go across from one side to the other, with a curved piece cut out at the bottom. Does anyone know anything about a chair like this?? I would be most grateful for some info! Thanks! :)
sounds neat but i cant tell ya unfortunatly, ive actually never even heard of a chair with legs like that, id be willing to bet its older thne you might be thinking though, seems like the more simple the construction of a chair the older it is.
Q: i have one of those music chairs with the 2 speakers, and subwoofer, but is there a way to take that awful subwoofer out and put in a new one? theres not a place to unzip the chair or anything, but the subwoofer distorts on about every song that i play. and what can i replace it with to make it have a lil bass without distortion?
Interesting question...let's see if I can be of any help. The way I see it, you have roughly two choices here (3 actually, but I'll save it for last.) 1) You can take the chair apart to get to the speaker, take it out and either replace it with a similar one (like a car subwoofer speaker - check the Ohm rating) or get the broken one fixed. 2) You could bypass the subwoofer altogether - but you'd have to find the wires to it and carefully disconnect them without shorting them. Then go and buy another inexpensive subwoofer, hook it up directly to your receiver (assuming that you had a receiver driving the chair system) - making sure to place the sub right next to (or under) the chair - to get a similar butt massage effect from the bass. or 3) toss the whole mess out. graduate and get a real speaker/subwoofer set up instead. Hope this kind of helps. I was serious with the first two ideas, the thrid was admittedly a wee bit glib. Please forgive me.
Q: the kind of chairs that are stored in a bag they fold up.
Camping chairs? Well I dont know...But if you wanted...Buy a bean bag chair from walmart and buy the bean stuff...they may have a smiley...all the times Ive been camping at at a trailer park all I have seen is Cokeacola chairs...canada flag chairs... my cousins froggie chair...normal chairs with no designs and Breast cancer chairs...
Q: i've got a 5 year old Staples deal that cost about $120 and it's not cutting it any more. If i want to get serious about a home office chair, what is a good brand/model?
If you can afford it, Steelcase chairs are great. I've bought two over the years and they offer great back support and have many adjustments available to fit your body type. They aren't cheap but you get what you pay for. I figure with as much time as I spend in an office chair, it's a wise investment.
