Q: i replaced the water pump and redid the timing belt. now when i start it, it sounds like one of the cylinder is misfiring and makes a chucking noise. do you have to reconnect everything together to see if thats the problem? the engine worked fine before i replaced my water pump. engine like vibrates at each chucking noise. could it be incorrect timing even when the engine starts fine? or is one of the valves bent which is causing the vibration and noise? i checked teh spark plugs and they are fine could if be bad coils? or is the crankshaft weared out? please help and thanks for you help about my situation.: timing is off. did u line the makesbefore taking the belt off ,and did i spin the motor two full turn to see if the timing makes line up

Q: It is a 110 shallow well pump for my water source to the house.: If you mean your pump turns on and off rapidly (really short cycles) you have a waterlogged pressure tank. The pressure tank for your system has an air space inside that is separated from the water by a neoprene bladder or diaphragm. The air provides a cushion for the pump and system since air is compressible and water isn't. Sometimes the diaphragm will develop a small hole and water will enter the air space. You may be able bleed the water out and recharge the air or in some cases the diaphragm will have to replaced.

Q: or how do i remove the water pump?please xplain: You need to get the large nut lose. It holds the fan/fan clutch to the water pump shaft. After you get that off it's all down hill from there.A large adjustable wrench will work on the nut but you will need to keep pump from turning to loosen it. I think it may be left hand thread. Most timing belt jobs are 4-5 hour jobs and all of that has to be removed to replace the water pumpp, which could be in a week a month or a year (roll the dice) it doesn't usually take much if any additional labor to replace the pump when everything else is out of the way usually just the cost of the pump itself. if you wait and say a month later the water pump goes out you would have the expense of the pump AND ALL THE LABOR AGAIN.
