Application for Slurry Pump
LWA slurry pumps are used for Metallurgical, mining, coal, power (Coal mining, Gold mine, iron mine, copper mine, lead ore, zinc ore, placer mining, molybdenum minerals, tin ore, titanium ore, tungsten ore, silver ore, aluminium oxide, asbestos, wood and paper pulp, water treatment, etc)
Brief Introduction
LWA Series slurry pumps are cantilevered, horizontal, centrifugal slurry pumps. They are designed for handling abrasive, high density slurries in the metallurgical, mining, coal, power, building material and other industrial departments etc. The pumps of this type also can be installed in multistage series.
The frame plates for LWA slurry pump such as interchangeable, hard metal or pressure mouleded elastomer liners. The impellers are made of hard metal or pressure cast elastomer liners.
The shaft seals for LWA slurry pump can be adoptable of gland seal for centrifugal shaft seal. The discharge branch can be positioned at intervals of 45 degree by request and oriented to any eight positions to suit installations and applications.
- Q: I just replaced my starter on my mustang and i when i took it out for a test drive i noticed the engine temperature rising. i drove for maybe 2 minutes max and when i parked the car it had a small amount of white smoke coming out of the engine so i let it cool down, and when it cooled down i checked the radiator, it had absolutely no anti-freeze, which is weird because i had just put a gallon of 50-50 anti-freeze maybe a week ago. So to test it i put 3 cups of water in the radiator turned her on and water was spilling from the water pump. So me and my dad have concluded we have to replace the water pump. I called up Autozone and they have a water pump replacement kit for $70. We don't have money too pay for the labor so can some1 please give me a step by step guide to replacing the water pump.
- So did you get it changed? mine just broke. do you got any pointers?
- Q: How do the water pump work please till me water pump mechanism?
- the international is produced from persons, and we've a lifetime to stay. this is our getting at the same time, our sharing and our helping that are the main important factors of life. So, clearly this must be finished between people, and prefer the brook, people come and persons bypass, yet we bypass on living. this is that this interplay it particularly is the objective of life, and finally as quickly as we are nearing our end there are in straight forward terms some left, some who count on us.
- Q: My timing belt is worn but has not broken yet. The mechanic first told me it would be about $200-250 to replace the belt. Then he called back and said it was going to be $550 because on an Aveo you have to replace the water pump at the same time. I asked if it was possible to do just the belt and he said quot;well the water pump will probably break when we take it outquot;. Is this a sign that I should just break down and go to a dealership so that my water pump won't quot;breakupon removal?
- It is recommended to do the water pump while everything is taken down to do the belt, but it is not necessary. It should not break if the mechanic knows what they are doing. The water pump does NOT have to be removed to change the belt.
- Q: I have a 1997 Saturn SL2 and I was wondering how much would it be to replace the water pump? Would it be less expensive if I took it to a neighborhood mechanic instead a more popular one like Goodyear or something? Thanks for looking.
- i just replaced my water pump on my jeep, the whole water pump kit was about $59.99 with lifetime warranty, most mechanics charge alot to do it, i did it myself, you just need a water pump, gasket, coolant draining pan, bottle of coolant and the procedure is pretty easy
- Q: About 2 months ago I started hearing a noise coming from my bathroom that sounded like loud humming every 3 or 4 seconds after I would turn on the water or flush the toilet. I noticed that when this noise happened the water pressure would increase and then it would go back to normal. Then the noise started to get louder. Last night while my husband was taking a shower the water lost pressure and then completely turned off. Now I have no water at all whatsoever except for maybe a few drops when I turn the faucet on. I have a private well and when I bought the house I was told that the well is underneath one of my bedrooms because the house was built on to and they built over the well. I know I can get to the pump from the crawl space. Has anyone had this problem or does anyone know what it might be or maybe even how much it could cost to fix?
- Hi. You could have a pressure tank that is in need of replacement or adding air to. The air cushion in the tank has either become compromised or has disappeared completely leaving no air cushion to let the pump build up pressure against. The pump is basically running every time you use even the smallest amount of water and this will basically cause the pump to self destruct. The next thing you may have is a bad pressure switch that is both causing the noise and the pressure variations from the nature of the points being bad. This is not expensive to fix. Under forty bucks. The other fix may run into the several thousands. Sorry. Hope this helps.
- Q: Plumber quotes installing system using cross-over valve which some way ties the recirculation through the cold water pipes. This sounds like a short-cut. Are there any disadvantages to this system?
- not sure what you are building or designing, city water or well water or truck tanker delivered water, water boiler for heat is common or isolated with shared heat for hot drinking water or there is a separately heated water heater, inexpensive unlimited water or inexpensive gas or oil are all design factors for plumbing. add-on pumps can improve water pressure or shorten the time it takes to get hot water at the tap or shower.
- Q: Hi,My problem is of this automatic water pump ,it is disrupt always I don't no why..I also want to knew what is the function of the pressure air tank??? The picture is here:
- WHAT does it is disrupt always really MEAN?? OK, that said... pumps such as this work to maintain a pressure with two set points even though the regulator only has one indicated.. The lower set point which as pressure drops, the pump turns on, and the upper set point where when the pressure rises to that point, the pump shuts off. When the pressure drops to the lower set point, it triggers the pump to run. When the pressure rises to the upper set point, the pump turns off. If the set point is 50 pounds, it may turn on at 47 and off at 53, or the window could be smaller and on at 49 and off at 51. The air bladder works as a shock absorber, just as the shocks work in your car to smooth the ride. When the pump turns ON there is a pressure pulse that without the air space, would promptly turn the pump off again. This is called short cycling and will cause your pump to on-off-on-off-on-off rapidly. The solution is to refill the air bladder. People with well pumps instead of city water have this problem frequently as the air bladder loses the bubble and does not work as a spring or shock absorber. I have city water NOW, but I used to use a well (which is still operational if I choose to use it) and I experienced pump short cycling the very first year I bought the house. The thing IS, I was ignorant. I missed the thing about a well and a septic tank that also uses a pump to an above ground drain field. YES. I was STUPID because I had NOT paid attention. NOW, years later, I have learned, the HARD way mind you, how these sanitary systems WORK in real life in RURAL America....
- Q: Motor has over 200k miles. Water pump took a dump. Gear is very wobbly! primary timing chain tensioner off the right bank hasn't any tension on chain at all! Crank turns but doesn't turn the chain. So motor is way out of time for sure now.Found small piece of aluminum and 2 -1/2pieces of appears to be a spring pin. Am I correct to assume these pieces are from the water pump? A new chain and water pump I can see doing on this old motor! But? Any suggestions on what to do next before I waste my money? What kind of compression reading can I get with all the plugs out and manually turning the crank? Short answers of scrap it not welcomed! I'll determine that after I'm satisfied it's truly bad! Thanks!
- I also own a 2001 Intrepid and recently had a water pump go bad which also broke my timing chain. The pieces of aluminum you found are probably valves or valve springs from the head. Mine broke every vavle and spring on one head when my engine jumped time and a few more on the other head that is probably what your seeing. Also you don't want to check for compression by turning the crank manually. It is an expensive job to fix but the cars are great but I wouldn't spend too much on them because they only go for about $3000-3700 in great condition nowadays. Good Luck
- Q: The difference between submersible pumps and centrifugal pumps
- Difference:The installation position is different: one can discharge water, one is on the ground.Working principle: different submersible pump principle similar electric fan, centrifugal pump by centrifugal force makes the water thrown out. According to the design principle of centrifugal force, high speed rotation of the impeller blades to drive the liquid will rotate out of the liquid, so as to achieve the purpose of transportation. There are many medium for transportation, such as oil, water, chemicals and so on. The pump shaft and the motor shaft are of the same shaft, the pump and the motor are made into an integral body and immersed in water. The medium of transportation is water.
- Q: I have a old house,1920's I think it was built. My water pump kicks on all the time! The tolite upstairs is not that old but the pipes are.The tolite runs for a min. and then stops for 5 mins. When I am running a bath..the second I turn off the water in the tub,the tolite starts to run! Same with the tolite downstairs, that one is only a few years old and the pipes are the same as it is an addition to the house. When I am up late at night in my office I hear the water pump kicking on in the basement ever 10 mins or so! My electric bill is huge! How can I fix this problem? What is causing it? I have not noticed any water leaks anywhere. We turned up the pressure on the pump. That helped a little. Thank god we have our own water well. Anyone have any Idea's?
- need more info but do you have a backflow preventer installed on the pipes? this might cause it or it may be bad if you do have one
