                        End Suction Centrifugal Pump

1.Structure of End Suction Centrifugal Pump Description

End Suction Centrifugal Pump complies fully to the European Standard BS EN733 / DIN24255 of performance and dimensions. They are used for pumping clean water or liquids similar to water, achieving wide application on plants, mines, city water supplies, air-conditioning coolers, firefighting system and irrigation. Pumps of the same model have different performance levels basing on different diameter after impeller trimming. Overall the whole series, there are only four sizes of shaft and five of bearing housing. As long as their bearing housings are of the same size, different pumps can interchange chief parts such as shaft, shaft sleeve, shaft seal, impeller nut, etc.

End Suction Centrifugal Pump is also very easy to be installed and maintained. Back pull-out design, driven through flexible coupling, so that pump casing and motor can remain in position while other spare parts are removed.

Q: We have just replced our hot water heater in our camper. When we turn on the water pump we hear it kick on and run. When we turn on a faucet water comes out then slowly goes away untill nothing comes out at all. It has been a year since we used the water tank, so its been full of air. The camper is pretty old, i dont know the specific date though. Could it be low water pressur? any help would be greatly appreciated.
Check to see if the water pump has a filter on it. Could look like window screen or similar. Junk in that will fill up with pressure and cut the water off. If the pump stops running after a few seconds of flowing, its probably a filter. Once they get to a certain pressure, water valve opened or closed, they shut off to keep from burning up. If the water tank was left with some water in it, moss may have grown. Should flush it with some clorox and water. Check with a local dealer to see how much.
Q: does anyone know how a water pump works????????????
There are many types of water pumps. What type are you interested in?
Q: 50 meters deep well with what water pump: home?
For deepwater submersible pumps, ordinary submersible pumps are inefficient.
Q: mercury 9.8hp.installed a new water pump impeller and still no water circulating through engine. no blockage anywhere. now what??? i`m stumped at this point.
This engine has a hose that discharges a small stream of water when running. But most of the water is discharged through the center of the prop. It's not uncommon for this hose to plug from small bits of sand and mud. a small wire can unplug it. If the thermostat is stuck this might cause what your describing, but it's rare. Is it possible that the little round drive pin that goes between the impeller and the drive-shaft, broke or came out during assembly? Or the guide tube in the lower leg (intermediate housing) is not in place of blocked. Sometimes the sleeve that seals this gets crumpled under during installation and can block the flow. My recommendation is to disassemble and check each step until you've found the problem, or satisfied your self that everything is right.
Q: I have been given a project to build a windmill driven water pump. So far, a lot of the books I've researched only give me info on how a water pump works. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance

Q: We are leasing land from a friend to put horses on. We're in the process of building a barn. We don't want to run water out there because its too much trouble for the meter and everything, but someone said to get a water pump and pump the water from the pond and filter it and use it. I have no idea what all we need or what kind of pump to get. Helpp!
There are many choices and lots of problems. You probably can use a small system with garden hose even depending on how much water you need. There are a lot of variables to define. How much water ie gallons per day? How far do you have to pump it? Is it uphill or downhill? What quality is the pond water? Filtering is a little harder but you should find in line systems or something on the web once you determine the flow rate etc. That may determine the rate you can pump at ie the filter capacity. Do you have electric? If not you need a gas setup pump or generator. What kind of storage tank are you going to pump water into? Sounds like your filter will be the big thing. If you pump 100 gal thats about two bathtubs full. If you pump that in 100 minutes that is 1 gallon per minute. Thats small. So if you can find a filter to do say 1 to 10 gpm and that type pump you can do two bathtubs or more in two hours or so. If you go to 10 gpm thats about the max for a garden hose. Thats more what you would want to spray from the system. Your filter is the key. How clean is the water? Then you need a pump for the flow rate and pressure that can go through the filter. City meter sounds easier now doesnt it?
Q: My water pump is sitting very close if not rubbing against the case. There were shavings and a groove. Would this cause it to knock? Also would this blow up the lower end? One more, Should it be in the center or offset twards the top?
it won't spin whilst you evaluate that's quickly geared to the crankshaft. turn the crankshaft - it is going to then spin. you may no longer eliminate the water pump without eliminating the grab conceal. eliminate the water pump shaft's protecting clip, to eliminate the water pump.
Q: I have a 1997 mercedes 320e and it is leaking very bad. I need a temporary fix for the water pump, so that I can take it to the repair shop that is 10 min. away.
fill the radiator and reservoir tank completely and leave the cap loose on the first click so the system doesn't build pressure drive to shop when least amount of traffic and weather is cooler
Q: Was I supposed to lube the water pump or what. I really don't know what it could be making the noise now. But it goes away after about 5-25 seconds of running, what could it be?
It is the belt slipping on the pully before the material warms up from friction to make it grip better. The squeeling sound is the pully and the belt slipping as the motor is warming up. It is nothing to be concerned about and it is definately NOT your water pump. If the sound bothers you, as it would me, then goto your local auto parts store and buy a cheap can of belt stop slip. It costs less then five bucks and it is a sticky substance like stickum or sapp in a spray can that will help your belt to better grip the pullies and it will stop your problem. What you want to do is this, wait until your car is cold and have someone start the car while you are standing over the motor ready to spray the can onto the belt. You will instantly hear the noise quit as soon as you squirt the can onto the moving belt. Once the engine starts and the belt is moving, just hold the spray down for 3 seconds and it will coat the underside of the belt and your problems will be over. You might want to try to spray an area that will allow the spray to coat the underside of the belt, i.e. the part that comes in contact with the pully. You only want to spray the belt while the engine is running and the belt is moving. That way your 3 second squirt will coat the entire underside of the belt as it moves under the spray can. Kinda like oiling a bicycle chain while moving the pedals and spinning the chain while holding the can in one place as opposed to oiling the chain while the chain is stationary and trying to cover the whole chain. It is impossible to reach all the places becuase some will be hidden behind other parts. That is why you want your motor running while you squirt the belt with the can of sticky belt stop squeel. It will stop squeeling immediately as soon as you spray it on the moving belt. The guy at Pep Boys or Advanced auto parts should know what you want.
Q: how can i choose a water pump that is truely on demand as in shuts off when not needed automaticly i purchaced one that claimed it was a quot;demandpump is mine defective or not a true on demand pump?
RV section is probably under cars and transportation, others. On demand pumps are quite common and used in many RV's.
