5. RFQ

1> What's the difference for CHL and CHLF(T) type?

CHL pumps have an inlet and outlet chamber which is made by stainless steel. CHLF(T) is just the section type.

2> Do you have any variable motor for these pumps?

Yes, we have. For the variable motor, the frequence can be changed as the customers' request. If the range is between 30~50Hz, the fan can be just connected with the shaft. And if the frequency is below 30Hz, then the fan has to have another separated power. The variable speed motor would be used for solar energy or some other similar situation with the unstable power.

3> How about the Delivery time?

Actually, this would be depending on the quantity. If it is just small order, 1 week would be fine. For bigger quantity, the delivery would be also less then 20 days. But for the varible speed ones, it will be taking some more time, normally it will be more than a month.

4> Is it really necessary to fit a bleed valve for the boxes?

It is always best to have a bleed valve as the gas produced by the fermenting sewage is potentially hazardous.

5> If I increase the power of the motor, must I also increase the power of the inverter?

You must select the size of converter that allows maximum absorption of the electric motor.

6> Do you have pumps with grinders?

    Yes, the WQ models.

Q: How much should I look for paying for my 1998 Honda Accord Water Pump??? With Labor and Materials?

Q: I have been given a project to build a windmill driven water pump. So far, a lot of the books I've researched only give me info on how a water pump works. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance
Have you ever had those Windmill almond cookies, those are great.
Q: can a failing water pump sound like rattling or popcorn until the motor begins to over heat? the sound is nearthe waterpump. it goes away once the temp starts to overheat.the temp will get near redline then go down to normal and then start creeping up again. thanks for any replies.
Yes it can! I am curious though if what you are hearing is a really bad water pump or spark knock due to excessive heat or possibly a blown head gasket. Remove the belt and shake the pulley on the water pump. If it moves or rattles at all, then it is probably bad. Seems strange that it hasn't tossed the belt off though if it were that bad. Worth looking though, testing is free, parts are not....
Q: How can I test to be sure my water pump is working before I go to the lake and burn up my motor. `72 65hp johnson. thank you.
You can also go to a marina and buy earmuffs that hook to a garden hose and fit over your water intake. As stated above just look for a stream of water coming out the back of the engine.
Q: 93 Cutless Sierra FWD
For a 2.2 4 cylinder read below: Disconnect battery ground cable, then drain cooling system. Remove serpentine drive belt, then the alternator and bracket. Remove water pump pulley attaching bolts, then remove the pulley, Fig. 20. Remove water pump attaching bolts, then the water pump. Reverse procedure to install. For a 3.3 6 cylinder read below: Disconnect battery ground cable. Drain cooling system, then remove serpentine drive belt. Remove lower radiator hose and heater hose at pump. Remove water pump pulley attaching bolts. Long bolt is removed through access hole located in the body side rail. Remove water pump pulley. Remove water pump attaching bolts, then the water pump, Fig. 15. Reverse procedure to install, torquing bolts to specifications Hope this was helpful!
Q: Question for you. I'm looking for a 12v (no AC converter, please) water pump to drive up to 4 water misters. Needs to run off the battery, without an AC converter (already found those). The pump will pull from a water reservoir and provide cooling relief on hot days through the misters. BTW... the pump should be reasonably small, limited to a few pounds...If you have any ideas, please advise. Thanks again,Robert
The ac converters are 12V rectifiers so just use the pump (wire to a battery) without the converter or check with motor home repair place
Q: my pump went out and i can't afford to have it fixed at a shop.
Drain coolant from radiator and cylinder block. Remove drive belts. Remove crank pulley. Remove timing belt covers. Note: It is not necessary to loosen or remove the timing belt during water pump service. CAUTION: When removing water pump assembly, be careful not to get coolant on timing belt. Remove water pump. INSPECTION Check body assembly and vane for rust or corrosion. Check for rough operation due to excessive end play. NOTE: Water pump cannot be disassembled and should be replaced as a unit. INSTALLATION Use a scraper to remove old liquid gasket from water pump. Also remove old liquid gasket from mating surface of cylinder block. Apply a continuous bead of liquid gasket to mating surface of water pump. Use Genuine Liquid Gasket or equivalent. Install water pump. Install remaining parts in reverse order of removal. Install drive belts. Refill engine coolant. After installation, run engine for a few minutes, and check for leaks.
Q: How hard is putting in a water pump for my 5-series on a 1-10 scale ?and how do i put it in ? details please !? i dont have a chitlon for it . ive worked a lot on this car and i do know some things about it, but not very car savy. Thank you !!
What is easy for you may be hard for others, so I would not give the job any hardship rating. But the approximate job entails doing these...descriptions from viewpoint of person standing infront and looking towards the engine... a) remove fan blade with fan clutch by turning big nut clockwise (reverse thread) b) remove fan belt, then remove pulley attached to water pump c) remove radiator fan shroud if you can to have more space to work in d) put basin underneath engine to catch coolant and detach radiator hose connected to water pump e) remove 6 bolts holding water pump and remove pump f) clean surface of engine block to remove left over sealant/gasket g) install new pump and other removed parts in reverse order h) add coolant, bleed (using bleeder screws in thermostat housing and upper radiator hose), then top-off coolant to proper level marked on expansion tank near windshield. i) ran engine or roadtest, then recheck coolant level after overnight stay or when engine cools down.
Q: For what reasons can water pump in car break? Thanks
Mechanical water pumps break because they have a shaft that goes directly into a water pump housing. That shaft is driven on the outside by the accessory drive belt. on the inside of the water pump housing their is a impeller(a disk like that of a old mill house in the forest next to a stream). between inside the pump housing and outside there is a rubber seal to keep the coolant in. Because the rubber seal is exposed to heat drying occurs on the outside causing the rubber seal to on day get hardened. On the inside the hot coolant keep the seal pliable and soft. when air gets inside the coolant system with water it causes the seal to dry on the inside of shaft seal. When heat is on both sides of the seal exposed to air cracking occurs faster causing the seal to crack all the way through and spill water. Electric water pumps for cars are some of the most compact and powerful water pumps around for their size. Due to the extreme under hood temps and the constant turning on and off to save gas the electric water pump for cars have a short life. It used to be electric water pumps were only used in the drag race area; due to electric failure. Not until recently have companies started to deploy them among small cars and also as secondary pumps for turbo and supercharger applications with having a main water pump being mechanical.
Q: Hubby is trying to change the water pump on our GMC Jimmy. He cannot get the fan off to access the water pump. What is the trick here? He's trying to do more of the maintenance on our cars to save $$$$ --but it sure is a bear!
First look at the new water pump, you will notice the threads are either left or right hand threaded. Once you have determined the thread direction, you will know in what direction to remove the fan. Take a large drift punch and place it on the high side of the fastening bolt. strike it with a hammer and the jolt will loosen the grip of the bolt and allow you to remove it. This may take several tries, but it does work, I have used the process numerous times.
