- Q: Alright,I happen to be the only man in the house and the plumbing is a bit faulty. You see,the machine has been filled with water as necessary and was ignited. It sounds perfectly fine and you can feel water run through the pipes connected to it, when touched. But it's been an hour now and the taps are not producing water. Please can anyone help? Under normal circumstances,there should be enough water now but the taps are all empty despite the water running through the pipes. What can I do? Please help. I filled it with even more water and there's no result. Help please. Thank you.
- If you are in a very cold climate you could have frozen pipes. If not call a plumber.
- Q: Need to pump water from the stream to my livestock tank on a regular basis.
- There are plenty of water pumps on the market, but solar powered? I have my doubts that anything smaller than a large photocell array would supply enough electricity for such a heavy load as a water pump. (I could be wrong.) If you used photocells to charge a battery, then used a timer to run the pump for a few minutes a day, that would probably do what you need. Another option, if the stream is fast-flowing, might be to use a paddle wheel to drive a pump directly, then have an overflow line from the tank back to the stream. That way your livestock would have fresh water all the time as long as the stream kept flowing. Most farmers are very smart at being able to figure things out and making them work, so I presume you could do this.
- Q: The leak is in the same area as my water pump, but when I jacked my car up yesterday, I wasn't able see my water pump. It's a 99 Saturn SL1.With the leak, it leaks very slowly, and it only leaks about a few ounces of fluid at a time. - From your question description, I'd use a condensate pump. They are about 30 bucks wholesale, so figure 50 retail. Look at one. I bet it's what you need. They are used on HVAC units. They have good head pressure for 3/4 lines. Even bigger. Your question has a lot of open spots in it. So, I'm answering the best I can. Hope this helps.

- I use a cut down rain water barrel to drop the outboard leg into. Fill the barrel until water reaches the anti-cavitation fin or a bit higher, start engine and make sure water come from the small tell-tale at the back of the lower cover. If no flow- ensure tell-tale pipe is clear (use a bit of wire), If still no flow, don't risk using engine until pump checked. Do not run the engine without water as you will burn out the pump rotor very quickly.

- Hot water recirculation for domestic hot water is not so much for efficiency as for instant hot water. It does waste less water, but the hot water pipes should be insulated to minimize heat losses. I would not recirculate hot water into the cold water lines. Lukewarm water is yucky to drink and could be unsafe.
- Q: when i drove my truck after about 15 minutes i was parked and let my truck idle afetr about a minute of idling my truck stalled and when i turned it back of it was squeeking and made some noises for about ten seconds and then stopped. I noticed that the pully on my fan coming from the water pump was wobbling. my tempuratue was still normal what could cause this i am suspecting taht the bearings in my water pump went?

- Q: Iv got a 2002 Chrysler Sebring with a 2.7 in it and recently it started leaking coolant, its been determined that i need a new water pump. Iv gotten quotes from various places and various prices but there all telling me i need to replace different things. One guy said i need a timing kit, the other guy said i dont need a timing kit but need valave covers and a couple other things, another said i dont need anything but the pump itself. Im lost and the leaks getting worse and i need to make a decision but dont know what to do. Some insight from you helpful people would be great!
- typically labor is 300-400 for that task. that scenario would dictate when one is done, both should be done. needed or not. getting them on the same maintenance schedule so to speak. thing is, is that the 2.7 uses timing a chain. not a belt. belts require changes. chains may or may not. in this case, there is no maintenance interval for the timing chain.
- Q: I have an ls vtec set up on my 89 EF si, I want to install a better oil and water pump. I m thinking of going with GSR. BUt my question is are all years gsr oil, water pump the same? I think my ls Block is from 93-95 acura. which year gsr water oil pump can I use for my motor?. also I have a 2000 si head. do I have to change the timing belt? and Last question is should I use b16, gsr type r pumps? I heard gsr and type r have the same part #. Thanks
- just change both to type r pumps that way there are no problems
