Introduction:
This double suction pump product is foot mounted, single-stage and double suction with axial split structure.
Its inlet flange and outlet flange are arranged at the lower part of the body, paralel with the axis. Therefore, the rotor can be easily taken out for overhaul, unnecessary to remove pipes, valves and motor.

- Q: We bought a second hand Rover 75, three months later head gasket blew. This was replaced but blew again due to original wet liners. A reconditioned engine was then put in but head gasket blew again due to original water pump. I am not trying to ascertain blame i would just like to know which is accurate as car seller is saying fault of mechanic as should have changed wet liners and water pump and mechanic is saying it is not common practice to change this parts when you replace a head gasket or engine. Thanks for any clarification, especially if you are a mechanic yourself.
- It seems excessive to have to remove the engine to replace a head gasket. But I typically work on American cars, and I've seen the inside of an Altima, it is quite cramped. If I were you, I'd search google for replace head gasket procedure nissan altima and see what it comes back with.
- Q: I think my water pump has crapped out on my 1997 Jeep Cherokee. I have been leaking coolant for a few days now and there is a puddle under my Jeep after I turn it off and my reserve tank keeps emptying out on me. I replaced the lower radiator hose and still the same problem. It is not over heating so I am wondering if it IS a water pump problem? If it is, could I do the work myself?
- It does sound like the water pump. There is a weep hole on the pump body (behind the pulley). You can run your finger on the bottom side of the pump where the pulley shaft goes into the pump housing - it will be wet if there has been leakage. Replacement of the water pump is not all that difficult. You can call any parts store to get the cost of the pump. While you are in there, replace the serpentine belt that drives the pump and go ahead and replace the radiator hoses (that you haven't already replaced plus the heater hoses and any rubber item touching the coolant flow (this will save your having to look at it again anytime soon). I have replaced a lot of water pumps in my time, and it is not a huge job. You can get a manual at AutoZone or any parts store to help walk you through it. Good luck.

- Go the your local hardware store and ask them for a bolt extractor kit. You will need to drill into the center of the bolt about 1/2 inch and then change the bit to the extractor that's in the kit. Try to keep the drill level and back it out slowly. Don't forget to get a new bolt also.

- If the power steering is going out. Its gonna be hard to spin the pulley.So the belt might be burning cause it trying to turn a seized pulley or a very tight pulley.What makes you think the water pump is no good.

- ok before replacing have you cleaned the inside, and if there are air bubbles comming out it is because it is running dry. Basically all biocubes do this, the filter pad is slowing down the water too much, so either rince it well or replace it. Also i would wash out the blue sponge right before the pump as that can hold alot of dirt as well. Then if not add more water. But if you want to replace the pump, try via aqua water pumps. they tend to be the best. owner of the BC 29 and BC 14
- Q: i am trying to set up a small aqaurium (about 25 gallons) and i am looking for a water pump that will flow water through the aquarium for a period of time and then shut off, and do that like every hour or so. is there such a thing? a water pump with a built in timer so its not running constanly but only every so often? it doesnt need to move alot of water, but i only want it to pump maybe once every hour. thanks for the help
- Why would u want this? Your fish would suffocate, you bacterial bed will die, there will be no water movement in your tank. If you want to have a good filter that makes no noise, makes air, and filters, then buy the JEPO liquid filter which is under water but attached to your glass, it makes bubbles and filters.
