Q: I found some cable online that I can use, but haven't had any experience with any of this.
I do not use anything but RG6 in my home, even for short lengths. If you want to try and can easily back it out and use RG6 if it doesn't work, then go for it. Otherwise, why risk it?
Q: do you know if there any router power by rj45 cable not an AC adapter?
You can buy adapters for expensive Cisco and other Wireless equipment to do exactly this. The power is supplied across an RJ45 cable from a box situated in the patch cabinet I assume the receiving box has to have the correct ports to be able to use this.
Q: i have a 600w rms and a 300w rms amp the 600w amp has an 80a fuse and the 300w has two 25a fuses right now i have two seperate power cable for each amp going to the battery the inline fuse for the 600w amp is 100a and the inline fuse for the 300w amp is 50a (i need to swich to a 60a i know) they both have 8awg power cables 100a amps is about all a n 8 awg can handle so what i want to do is run a single zero guage cable to the firewall than on the inside of the vehicle have a distribution block what i need to know is -what guage wire should i use for the power wire at the battery-what size fuses to use and how many-the locations i should put the fusesthanks i pick best answers fast
white is often you impartial conductor. eco-friendly is often the equipment grounding conductor. black is a warm conductor. i think of the bare wrap is an equipment grounding conductor for the twine. that is there incase somebody have been to place a screw or puncture the cable in some incorrect way. a screw penetrating the twine might hit the bare first, then it would hit the nice and snug twine. the bare safeguard might carry the present each and all of the some time past to the panel and holiday the breaker rather of the present dealing with your physique.
Q: I have a Technics SL-D20 Turntable recently purchased from a garage sale that lacks a power cable. The turntable has a 2 prong adapter, but it is not one that has a square and semi-circular portion, but rather seems to accept an elliptical two pronged cable. It is listed on the back as Power Source AC120V 50 or 60hZ 6wThank you
Man that could be tough. It sounds like a belt drive turntable, I'm sure of the name of the part, but it's basically there to move the belt; it isn't metal so it isolates the belt, thus reducing vibration and transmission of motor noise. That's what I think it is anyway. I'll bet if you go on some audiophile web sites, you can find a parts listing for that model, and get a name and part number. Technics were very popular, I've got a belt drive one myself that I haven't hooked up in 10 years.
Q: I bought a LG Plasma TV, it comes with 3 Ferrite cores, two of them is a little bigger than the diameter of the power plug and it's not tight on it and one is small, is it effective to but the bigger one one the power cable?
It doesn't make any difference, they are just as effective if they are loose. Actually the bigger ones should be more effective at filtering because there is more ferrite material in them.
Q: So I was trying to run wiring for a 220 outlet and I hit a lower leg with the metal cable snake, now a bunch of outlets loose power for a minute or two ever so often, 20 min give or take. What can be the cause? Only the top breaker tripped. How can this be repaired. Please help.
When you say lower leg I am assuming you hit the bottom part of a buss in the breaker box. You arced the buss. Pull out the breakers that the outlets are on. Make sure you turn off the main before doing this, or you may fry your brain too. Look at the buss that the breaker is attached to. Is there a small black spot? If so, you need to clean it up and replace the break. I metal finger nail file works great to clean it up. You may have bumped the grounding bar and loosened up one of the wires there. That's also easy to do inside the breaker box. If you simply hit the lower leg of an outlet, the wire simply got knocked loose in that outlet and it is effecting the outlets that it branches off to. If this is the case, you should know how to fix that if you know how to use a snake. Though you should be using a vinyl snake on live wiring.
Q: I do not have the Video Card in hand but I will in a few days and I already know the adapter cable has gone missing. The NVdia Website is no help. I have an HP Pavilion Elite desktop. I want to acquire the cable before I receive the Video Card, so I can install it right away. I want to know exactly the type of power connector cable is so I can go online and order it now.
Power connector cable? Usually, you don't need an adapter cable: you just plug the video card into one of the PCI expansion card slots available on the motherboard, then you plug the monitor's cable to connect the monitor to the computer via the serial port on the video card. Knowing what computer you have doesn't really help: You have to tell us the motherboard's brand model to see if this particular video card is compatible for your computer's motherboard.
Q: If you look at a power line it is hanging down in the middle why is that
gravity. Power lines are not light. If you try to pull them tighter, to reduce the amount of sag you can break the line itself, or put tremendous strain on the support towers.
Q: i wasnt thinking and put the power cable in my mouth and then pressed the tip on my tongue and got electrocuted... it still hurts a little.. am i going to die
here is a definition for someone that don't know what electrocuted means e·lec·tro·cute ? ?/??l?ktr??kyut/ Show Spelled[ih-lek-truh-kyoot] Show IPA –verb (used with object), -cut·ed, -cut·ing. 1. to kill by electricity. 2. to execute (a criminal) by electricity, as in an electric chair.
Q: I have bought a 9800 gt it comes wid only 1 cable and i dont knw where to connect it.
Yep, that looks like an S/PDIF audio cable. The other poster pretty much nailed the response so.....there ya have it. Its not necessary at all, its only if you want audio over the HDMI output which is good for connecting to a say a tv or surround sound reciever.
