Types of the cables:：

- Q: My car's stock stereo is pretty low power, probably less than 20 watts. I would like to replace the power wires with better ones, if not for any real benefit to sound quality then simply to satisfy a personal whim. 8 gauge wires would be too I think for the small spaces. Anyway, would a good quality speaker wire work just a good as a power wire of the same gauge?
- NO! they are called speaker wires because they are light. Power wires are called Power wires because they are heavier.

- May have fried part of powersupply if wires shorted where burnt. Check inside powersupply for blown fuse. If blown, replace. If not, check into new powersupply.

- Before hooking that up, check the specs on your motherboard to see if that fan header will support loads from both fans. You may need to get a Molex to 4-pin converter and power directly off your power supply.
- Q: There have been severe storms in my country Kenya and power lines have fallen and caused a lot of injuries, some fatal to pedestrians, motorists and others.I am sure if power lines were covered with rubber sheathing or some other apopropriatde material, there would be less likelihood of electrocution, serious injury, fire or property damage. - One small addition to what has been said above, and that seem to have been forgotten: When a power cable breaks and falls to the ground, it acts exactly like a whip! It does not matter if it were covered with feathers, the simple whipping force would STILL cut a car in two... (I have seen a cable cutting a HOUSE in two!)

- The wire is the same, just different color so you dont confuse yourself when installing. You'll actually have to upgrade BOTH wires to properly do the big 3. 1. + Batt to + Alternator output post 2. - Batt to frame/chassis 3. frame/chassis to engine block 4. (For extra) engine block to - Batt All in at least 0 awg gauge wire. I've done my in 0/2 awg gauge welding cables.
- Q: When I went to go set it up, everything is ps3 except the power cable. You know on the side where it connects to the ps3? Well its supposed to be round on both sides. Well ours is round and square. Can i shave the square one or will it not work?
- No, you can use the power cable for a computer on the PS3. It is a standard shape and can be purchased from any good computer shop. The PS2 uses a transformer and the pin alignment is different. Just get a proper cable, they are really cheap anyway.
- Q: I blew 2 fuses in my amp in my car, i have replaced them both, one was a 30amp and the other a 20. The 30 amp was an inline fuse from the battery to the amp and the 20 amp was a standard 20 amp fuse in the amp. As i said i replaced both fuses and try the amp again and it wouldnt go. There is a LED light on the top just lighting up a logo, when i attatch the power from the battery the light goes off and when i disconnect it the light comes on. When i dissconect the power the red light for diagnose comes on.

- Yes I'm sure this would work. Just solder the red and black wires to an other usb cable and leave the other 2 data ones going into the computer. Plug the power usb cable into your adaptor and It should work. The device is still getting the 5volts it needs so I see no reason why it shouldn't work.
- Q: on a 600 watt amp will it blow my amp?
- A bigger cable isnt going to make ur amp blow. A cable doesnt push the power, all it does is provide a way for your amp to pull the current. The bigger the better though, it creates less resistance, and less resistance = higher voltage = higher wattage.
- Q: Only the ground cable is green, the two other cables are gray and I noticed that one is with stripes the other is not... The maker is Smart Choice. - there is more clue, one cable end is coded with a letter Z , other W , than G .... the G is probably the ground ( green ) . I need to know which one will connect to the black wire and which to the white one. Please help. Thank you
- The neutral or grounded conductor will be the one with the stripe or ridge on it. This will connect to the white wire or neutral connection on the dishwasher. You can follow it down and see that it will be the wider of the two power prongs. Green or bare will be for equipment grounding and will connect to the frame of the dishwasher. Usually this is a green screw.
