- Q:the power cable is in 2 parts, one from the xbox to a box, from the box to the wallthat box has an led light. when the xbox is on, it should turn green, when the xbox is off it should turn orange. my led light is turning red instead of orange and green.its not red ring of death, or 4 red rings, i know this because my xbox wont even power up because the box in the power cable will not send power to my xbox. im so confused...plz help
- I can't answer your question coz I've got the same problem too! can somebody please answer his question?
- Q:What is the difference between a power cable and a cross-linked cable?
- I do not know, I do the task, although we also engage in cable
- Q:Hi, my computer power supply does not have a PCI-E 6 pin power cable for my graphics card, so therefore I found a 2 (4 pin molex) to 1 PCI-E power cable Y adapter.
- It is quite stable otherwise they couldn't sell the adaptors. I have a similar set-up and it works fine so don't worry about it.
- Q:do i fit the 2 other power connectors to the psu wire or just the one connectorThanksCard is an hd3870
- I have the HD 3870 and I do not recall it having 3 power connectors. There is only one, which is the 6pin. Only the 3870X2 and the 2900 have two power connectors which are 6pin and 8pin. Read the manual. You might be looking at jumpers or sound connectors and putting power to those items will cause you to fry your good card.
- Q:I was looking at buying the MSI HD6850 cyclone OC/power edition but on the msi website it says it includes an external power cable. Am I missing something? Do I need more than the standard pci-e 6 pin connector from the PSU?
- Some graphics cards require you to connect a power cable to the board. As it requires more power than it can get through the pci connection.
- Q:I bought a 1999 Volkswagon jetta and there is no sound coming from the speakers. There are speaker cables, power cables, and input cables in the trunk. The powers cables ( there is 2 of them) are both connected to the negative terminal of the battery. There is also 2 input cables. Do I need an amp in order for my speakers to work? If I do how do I connect it? I connected my ipod to each speaker individually and they all work.
- Oh my. Please AIM me at Heffrey36, this question has many flawed components and multiple answers. I'll be glad to help.
- Q:Honda Accord Executive on a 56' reg car.Fitting help much appreciated.
- Probably not easy but if ya find the hole in the firewall underneath ya dash somewhere than just poke it through there and run it underneath ya carpet. After that u'll just be able to find ya way into the boot with no problem. I like running the power cable down the centre of the car but that can sometimes be more of a hassle than its worth, so along the side of ur seat is cool.
- Q:There have been severe storms in my country Kenya and power lines have fallen and caused a lot of injuries, some fatal to pedestrians, motorists and others.I am sure if power lines were covered with rubber sheathing or some other apopropriatde material, there would be less likelihood of electrocution, serious injury, fire or property damage. I am a lay person in these matters so I am talking from what I have seen. Thanks in advance.
- it really wouldnt help. and your broke *** country has better things to spend money on.
- Q:My setup is an alpine MRX-M100 powering 2 alpine type R 12's on 4 ohm, and also an old eclipse PA 5422 speaker amp. The main thing is I have 4 gauge running from my battery to my amps, but I have this sort of distribution block that turns the 4 gauge wire into 2 8 gauge wires. I know that this probably isn't the best for the MRX-M100, but it's all I had or what I could afford at the time. The main thing I wanted to ask was is this bad for the amp, and what would it be like if I had 0 gauge coming off the battery so then it would be 4 gauge going to the amps? Would it be louder? Could I turn it up higher? because right now if I turn up the volume past a certain point the subs will just stop playing. If I just shut off my head unit and turn it back on they start up again. Your thoughts and recommendations would be appreciated!
- then (big three upgrade)watch a video on this.its some wiring upgrades under the hood.if your sub woofer is cutting out like you said its not getting enough power.any charging system upgrades you can do will help.remember this the alternator is the heart of your charging system if you have a chance to swap this out at least buy one that puts out at least double the amps that your factory alternator is putting out.this will not harm your car and will do wonders for your sound system.
- Q:I feel like this is a stupid question but yeah, I m getting a PC and wonder about all the cables. It doesn t have vga output so I m going with a separate hdmi cable to the screen, but power cables I suppose will be there? Like that s not a separate thing ooor...?
- If you are buying a PC that is bundled with a monitor, all of the necessary cables to set it up should be included (except a network cable). If you are buying the PC and monitor separately, the PC should come with a power cable, and may or may not include a video cable. The monitor should include a power cable and at least one video cable that the monitor supports. Monitors will typically come with a DVI cable and a DVI to VGA adapter if DVI is supported. If you are using a television instead of a monitor, it will likely only come with a power cord. You would need to buy your video cable separately.
