- Having the alarm put in should not affect your amp, I hate taking my car somewhere thinking someone might play with, and maybe break my toys. But yes they were right always sand the ground spot till its nice and shiny but I cant see a week ground tripping the protection light. Try unhooking the power wire and run a temperary one from the amp to the battery to see if your power wire might be the culprit by wearing and posibly lightly shorting against metal. The power wire is the most likely to be the guilty party if everything bench tested good (also relace the fuse at the battery they can become defective without breaking I had that happen before) Good luck.

Just type in your Google shopping search bar Laptop charger XXX and look at compatible results. Don't even try to look up one on hp's site, they will charge you about 5 times what it will cost you for one on OKorder or something. Hope this helps :D

Usually, you don't need an adapter cable: you just plug the video card into one of the PCI expansion card slots available on the motherboard, then you plug the monitor's cable to connect the monitor to the computer via the serial port on the video card. Knowing what computer you have doesn't really help: You have to tell us the motherboard's brand model to see if this particular video card is compatible for your computer's motherboard.

- I would suggest using the velcro tye's you can get at any electronic store. Try tying off at the leg of your table. You can also use gaffing tape to tape it down to your floor. Gaffers tape usually doesn't leave a residue and is easily removed. Again, you can get it at Home Depot int he electronics section. Oh yeah, and be careful. :o)
- Q: I have a power adapter that changes the tip of a power cable from the US standard to the Spain standard. My laptop has 3 prongs and the adapter accepts 2. It fits into it, but the 3rd prong just rests outside. I know the voltage over there is twice as strong, so will this work correctly?
- Houjo and another correspondent seem to think that the earth (ground) connection is to protect the equipment. It isn't. It is to protect you. If the laptop was designed to be used with an earthed mains lead (the handbook should tell you) it will still work with a two-core one but in the, albeit unlikely, event of certain type of fault in the laptop you may be exposed to mains voltage on any conductive part of the laptop.

- Usually they are enough long, but you still can buy separately wires to conect on them to make them more longer. They sell at bestbuy stores
