- It depends on what chip set they have. An older Elite 360's power cable (with the older set) will fit into a new one, but not the other way around. It sounds like the one you just bought is older than the one that was banned.
- Q: Last step to install my amp is the Power Cable. Their is a fuse device i must attach to the cord so im guessing i have to cut the gauge install it on both sides and run it to the battery. Does it matter were this fuse device connects? because i want it right next to my amp.thnx
- Actually, you're on the right track all by yourself. Your in-line fuse SHOULD be right next to your amp. Specs say not more than 12 inches from the amp, but I personally wouldn't gop more than six inches away. It looks much cleaner, and is the most common way systems are designed. Just make sure your connections are rock solid. Sounds like you're doing a great job.
- Q: Hi. I recently purchased an EVGA Geforce GTX 670 FTW video card that need two 6 pins pci-e power cables. The problem is that the 2 in my pc have L shaped dongles in which one can't connect to the video card due to how it's designed. Is there any way to extend the dongle for reach? - No, you can use the power cable for a computer on the PS3. It is a standard shape and can be purchased from any good computer shop. The PS2 uses a transformer and the pin alignment is different. Just get a proper cable, they are really cheap anyway.
- Q: Hey guys I have a compaq sr5550f desktop the power light under the cable is flicking green but the computer will not turn on or off yesterday it was fine but unable to connect to the monitor I have saying no signal? whats up with it it was fine two days ago I unplugged all cables and let it rest and still the same result even if i unplug all the cables it still flickers green the dies off then if i plug it back it does it again help?
- Does the fan spin (at the back, near where you plug in the power cable) at all? If not, you probably have a failed power supply that needs replacing.
