Q: I had bought a new stereo for my Dodge Neon, had installed it, and everything worked great for a couple days. Later my stereo was no longer getting power, I took it out to try to find out the problem. The power cable from the battery to the stereo is no longer intact. The little metal pin in the middle(no, I don't know exactly what it's called) broke off! I have no idea how, or even where it is, all I know is that it's gone and I don't know what to do! Is this a replaceable car part? If so, where do I find a new part, or where would I take my car to get the best help and possible answers? Would it be better to take it to a mechanic or to a stereo installation shop?: the cables are not a life and run away from the dash , that never happends, and if the cable is there its not broken the power comes from the ignition switch not the battery , so you have a bad fuse or bad ignition switch most likely it is only a fuse, did you know there are 2 boxes ? check both

Q: when i bought my motherboard it came with two 4-pin to sata power cables but i see that the power supplies have a sata power cable on it how do i connect these i have no idea how to do this: The hard drive should have a 4 pine Molex connection or similar that matches up to the outputs from the power supply. Basically its a Molex (4 wire) connection to the power supply and a long thin data connection to the mother board.

Q: ...suction cup mount?There is a port on the side of the device that the vehicle power cable fits into, but the manual says the vehicle power cable is designed to plug into the suction cup mount. What happens if I plug the vehicle power cable directly into the gps unit? Does the unit operate, but not charge? Does it not operate at all? Does it operate and charge? Before trying it, I'd like to know so I don't harm the device.: Garmin makes a couple of power cords that go from one GPS to the other. Read the instruction manual, if it says a power cord plugs in there it will work. It will not recharge unless you have Ni-Cad rechargable batteries. Garmin is an excellent unit and you can moved saved info from other Garmins on your computer to your new one usually.

Q: SATA power connector? If so where can i buy one?: Probably, but most people just buy Molex to SATA power adapters. If you need more Molex 4 pin plugs, just buy some Y splitters. Any computer store worth a darn should have some of both in stock, even the chain ones.

Q: When i want to connect two SATA hard drives do I need some power cable on slave or just to connect it with sata cable and that'it? Because I did it like that and it's not recognized. And I don't have second SATA power supply cable in my computer.: first, your HDD needs power in order for it to work, that's a fact,after you have connected all necessary cables(cables and powersupply of HDD), next go to bios setup(press delete button at start up) and configure your HDD in STANDARD CMOS FEATURES, put your primary HDD in IDE CHANNEL 0 MASTER and your 2nd HDD in IDE CHANNEL 1 MASTER, save and exit set up, then your good to go :D

That's why your old PSU blew up. You needed to buy a step down voltage converter for avout 15 Euros or so. The Xbox PSU itself will handle the mains for whichever country it was designed for and convert the power to a DC voltage of 12v for any Xbox 360.
