- Almost all powered studio monitors have some hiss if you have the input level turned all the way up - this is normal.

- Q:My friend gave me a PS2 as a gift of Friendship but it was missing a cable. And that cable was the power cable. He told me I can use a power cable that some radios use, and it will be the same. Although I have doubts. I think I have like 2 radios out back so I'm wondering if they actually DO work. - Q:Hi everyone, I recently purchased a PS3 used not slim and am having a tough time with it. For one, I don't even know how to charge my four red dot blinking controller and turn on the ps3. I'm wondering since I got everything hooked up but still not even a red dot on the ps3 when I put in the power cable at the end there is that thing with the three things sticking out, where do I put that? - ok. the PS3 uses a standard 3 prong plug, similar to what your PC would use. plug that in, and then into the wall. older PS3's also have a power switch right above the power cord. you have to turn the system on here. after you filp the switch, the PS3 enters standby mode. on to your controller you should have gotten a very short usb cable. the larger end plugs into the system.the smaller into the controller. push the PS button on the center of your controller to sync it. it should go from 4 flashing lights to one. then, it should steady flash position 1 to show that it is charging. one it is charged, or when the usb cable is removed, you should get a steady light. no flashes.
- Q:Hello, I am looking to purchase a single power connector for 5 hard drives. I have a modular 1200W power supply, and all i can find on website is these single power connecters that do not even look like they will connect to my power supply. My computer came with power connectors for 4 hard drives in single cables. I do not want to waste another Power supply slot for just 1 more hard drive. Can anybody tell me how to search for this? - exactly what PSU do you have? I am sure if it's a nice modular PSU you can always contact the manufacturer and order some extra modular cables that fit the drive type you are looking for (just make sure the cables you do have will fit into those sockets - they should). I am surprised a 1.2KW PSU didn't come with connectors for 12 hard drives or more. the reason why there's only 4 on one is because that's all the power that channel can handle. you shouldn't overload it. calculate the load for one channel (V*A=W) using hard drive or device power specs, and IF you think there's enough extra power for one more, then stick a splitter on a connector if one is available. it's best to leave some extra Amperage headroom. if you don't want to go through the load calculations, or can't, then just use another cable. but don't simply use a splitter because it's available. you will have to look at PSU rails specs to see what each rail can handle for those modular connectors. try simply looking at the 12V and 5V alone or just the 12V.
