- The water pump with frequency conversion is set correctly and will not burn the motor. If there is a problem, the frequency converter will automatically stop running. The frequency converter can change the positive and negative (frequency changer without this function, change the phase sequence)

- Your car has only one fuel pump in the gas-tank of it's a four cylinder motor. It has only one fuel pump if the motor is a V-6. In both cases, change the fuel filter first. Have the fuel pressure checked in the fuel rail pressure fitting beside the fuel injector nozzles. No need to change the fuel pump if the pressure is at least 35 psi. No way in heck should it cost $900. to have the water-pump and thermostat replaced on your car. Pretty sure a Chevrolet dealer, who know services Saturn would charge that much! *Check out more trusted private mechanics for prices. We'd offer a glimmer of what it would cost but you forgot to tell us if the engine was a V-6 or four cylinder. Forget any kind of chain mechanical shop.

I stupidly used bubble bath 2 days before and have since read that it is not good, but just because of the amount of bubbles, not that it will actually harm the system. - I concur with the weep hole definition. However, when coolant starts to leak through that hole, it is time for a new water pump. Which engine do you have? If you have the 3800 V6, that pump is fairly easy to change. The 3100 and 3400's water pumps are also fairly easy to do with some twisting and turning of the hands. Either way, make sure you get the right water pump for your engine.
- Q: the car is a 1973 Pontiac Lemans, 350 V8. Water pump needs to be replaced. It's obviously a mechanical pump that's in there now. I was thinking of getting something with more capacity (to start off) as I feel the car could do with a better cooling system (and I have to get a water pump anyways). I was thinking of getting an electrical pump as that would also free up a bit of power from the engine. From what I gather, by doing this it seems I need to switch to an electrical fan also. - yes it can IF the car is running hot. id wanna see this happen. when you go to look at the car start it up an let it run til it starts to go past normal,once it goes up past normal you can be sure its the water pump not working,which when newer cars overheat they shut off.jus dont run it hot. id also wanna know that the car runs great. no telling how many times he's let it run hot an shut off like that
