- For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/awNHT Did you hit up both bleeders? Run the car until the thermostat opens. You'll know when because the cooling fan will cycle on. With the car running, and the Rad cap off, start with the bleeder near the thermostat housing (RH side as you're looking at the motor from the front.) Leave it open until you have steady stream of coolant flowing. Close, and move to the bleeder on the left. It's on the metal tubing above the water pump. Same thing, open until coolant flows. Close bleeder, then run the engine up manually at the throttle body. Keep adding coolant to the radiator untill it's topped off with no bubbles coming out. Cap the radiator before letting off the gas. Fill the resevoir, to the full hot line or a little over. Any random small bubble with make their way to the res, being replaced by fluid.

- If you have a water pump filter that hangs on the side of the tank you do not need an air pump alhtough I would have both. The water gets oxygen from being circulated. An air pump usually comes with a starter tank along with a air stone. This pump puts oxygen into the water for the fish which should be 1 fish per galllon.

- Two more things to add... 1. Buy a chilton manual. it will help and give step-by-step instructions and pictures. 2. (assuming a 4.0l 6cyl) The water pump doesn't just come off. The bolts holding the water pump also hold the AC, Alternator, and Power Steering pump. Its not a big deal, but it takes a while and you don't take these out, just lay them to the side. Personally, it was worth having the local shop do the work.

- Plan on the car failing completely soon...the rings probably were damaged from excessive heat...depending on how long you drove it while it was too hot. The rings on the pistons are most likely bad now and will start fouling you spark plugs....best start saving now for another car.....here's a hint..if the car is in great shape other wise take it to a dealer for a trade in..before it fails and they give you a better trade in value.

- Is the motor of the pump built-in so that the pumped fluid flows through the motor also? If the answer to the question is yes then do not use the pump for pumping kerosene. However, if the pumped liquid does not come in contact with motor then you can use the pump for pumping kerosene. But ensure that the pump shaft seal is of mechanical type (so that kerosene does not leak from the shaft sealing area) with parts (specially any rubber parts) compatible with hydrocarbons (use viton rubber parts instead of EPDM)

- don,t drive it or it will overheat. it could be the by-pass hose leaking instead of the pump.
