- Q: i want some good sound.like the beefy rumble, its a 4cly so i know its not gonna be beefy like a V8. but i like that deep sound. im not looking for a gain in performance if it got better with it on great but its not high on the proirity list. should i do cherry bomb glass pack or something else. im on a tight budget so i dont wanna hand over $200+ for a new exhaust system.
- Glass or flowmaster, the cherry will sound to high pitched for what your aiming for. Headers an a strait pipe will also add to what you want to achieve but may exceed your budget.

- The welded on muffler is just there for looks and it wastes gas plus it doesn't even look good. Get the whole exhaust system your looking at a 8-10 HP gained. add an intake and a header and your looking at a 20-30 HP gain. Plus it sounds hella aggressive. With all that your car sounds like it has a swap or something.
- Q: I am in need of a exhaust system for my home theater. i have to much going on. 1 receiver, dvr, home theater pc, playstation 3, xbox 360 w/ hd-dvd rom, and charging for controllers and logitech 880 remote, I also have a LG tv which can get warm all this is housed in one of those hometheater entertainment center that has 2 towers on either side of a lower base for the tv where the devices go under and gets very warm. the towers are smaller for dvds. i want to mount 2 fans behind each device. No glass in front of device so for now everything will exhaust. i am using computer fans prolly 4inch ones. i am wandering i want to have the system controlled by a thermostat and i need suggestions on what to do. i am using the old trip method where u put one side of a wire in the psu green hole and one in the black and that turns it on with one simple switch i want to put a thermostat in the middle. does anyone now if this is possible if so what thermostat would u recommend
- I have seen a bunch of CPU case mod's that have a fan controller that slides into a drive bay. They have a display to report temperature and various speed controls for up to 6/8 fans. These are only about $30-$60 (and cheaper on eBay). The only trick would be the temperature sensors as I suspect your HT gear does not get as hot as hard drives/CPU chips. But these panels often have set-points you can adjust.
- Q: Could i remove the cat converters that are shot and put this type of exhaust system in place of them?
- Cat-backs are ready to go systems for a specific application. They attach behind the catalytic the flange by 2-3-or 4 bolts. This would not be the way to go in your problem as it is from the cat rearwards. Best bet is to go to a parts store and get a generic replacement. Since you didn't list a make or model, it could be possible to eliminate the cat if it is pre 95 or without OBD2. This is NOT a LEGAL fix in any state, however. Wink-wink! Recommend replacement with a high flow cat.

- Q: Hey I‘m just looking for a cool sounding exhaust for it. Idk if I want a whole exhaust system, or maybe just the muffler. My friend said that Flowmaster wouldn‘t be good for it, sense it‘s only a 4 cyl. I was recommended DNX Mufflers or 3A Exhaust but any other suggestions?
- flowmaster actually does sound good with a nice muffler. the 3a or dnx just mufflers make your car sound really raspy like a ricer. i prefer the greddy evo exhaust looks big but actually really quiet and gives performance. a little expensive but you can buy the obx brand which is a off brand replica but looks exactly the same and same tone. the muffler alone is 70 with shipping on OKorder. but if you have the money get the full greddy evo exhaust its well worth it. hope dis helps you.
- Q: Hii have got a astra sport 07 plate i am looking at an exhaust system dual one so there is one either side at back. can any body recommend a good one. i am mainly looking for performance but a bit of noise don‘t want it to over the top tho?thanks

- improved flow through, quieter: NO (in a performance set up those are mutually exclusive terms). and i would most highly recommend against further baffling/or any increased restriction of your exhaust (improved flow through is a positive-restricted flow through is a negative).
- Q: ok ive been wondering this for awhile. I have looked at plenty of body kits for my mustang and have found really cool ones but was too afriad to buy them cause then i want to put an exhaust system on it but they have diffrent ones that come out the side and the back etc for instance the ones out the back the body kits that have the cutouts for the exhausts in the back will it basically fit all exhausts that go out the back? Same with the side ones like if it has one pipe cut out and i have a two pipe exhaust what would i have to do or would i have to find one that is for two pipes? thanks!
- First get the new exhaust and install it on your mustang. Then find a body kit that will fit on the exhaust that you have, if you cant find one that is perfect you can always just slightly change the body kit yourself.
