I like all metal. Especially melodic death metal. So any fast paced death metal ones??Oh and I don't like the old classic metal stuff from like 1970..
Hair metal tends to have more melody and hooks to the sound. Most solos and guitar work are played in major scales or blues scales, as opposed to normal metal which is usually played in minor scales. This deviance gives the sound a much more upbeat (i.e. crappy) sound. Most of the lyrical content is usually about partying, falling in/out of love, etc, whereas normal metal usually deals with more relevant issues (political, social, introspective themes). Overall, in my opinion, hair metal sucks, and should not even be called metal. But thats just my opinion, and Im sure many people actually like this stuff.
Now, metals are made in high tech furnaces that blow pure oxygen through it, but the furnaces are made out of metal, so how did they get the metal to make the furnace with?
Yes, I'm actually a big fan of it. Hammerfall and Iced Earth reign supreme for me.
i feel very slow, i really cannot figure out the difference between death metal and black metal...anyone know?
A metal is an element that readily loses electrons to form positive ions (cations) and has metallic bonds between metal atoms. Mercury is a metal but it is a liquid at room temperature. It is liquid at room temperature because of the very weak mercury-mercury bonding.
or even worse death metal?
the Berzerker are Industrial Death Metal, while some of their their music is a **** to play (like downpicking massacre - fun), they aren't really a technical death metal band. check out Psycroptic. The Isle Of Disenchantment and Ob(Servant) are my favourite albums by them iv'e answered the re post of this question and listed more bands and given ya a link to the best metal torrent site i've found wooohoo 2 points.

Salts are never metals. It is a compound. The ammonium ion is acidic, and the sulphate ion is weakly basic. Overall, ammonium sulphate is acidic, because ammonium is more acidic than sulphate is basic.
Apart from the facts that metals always loose electrons and are good electric conductors and that non-metals always gain electrons and are bad conductors, what is the difference between the two?
Metals have a very low specific heat, which means that it takes very little heat to change their temperature. This means two things: Metals heat up quickly, and metals cool down quickly. When metal is in the direct sunlight for even a short period of time, it heats up fast. For example, the buckle on your seatbelt. However, metal is also quick to cool down. The air in your room probably is blowing across the metal and in this way the metal is constantly in contact with a colder mass, and heat can quickly move out of the metal.
