Production outline
Model SLS single-stage single-suction vertical centrifugal pump is a high-effective energy-saving product successfully designed by means of adopting the property data of IS model centrifugal pump and the unique merits of vertical pump and strictly in accordance with ISO2858 world standard and the latest national standard and an ideal product to replace IS horizontal pump, DL model pump etc. ordinary pumps. The flow range is 1.5 -2400m³/h and the head range 4.5~160m and there are basic type, by-pass type, A B C cutting type etc. more than 250 specifications. And per the different flow medium and temperature, SLR hot-water pump, SLH chemical pump and SLY(YG) oil pump and SLHY vertical non-explosive chemical pump. etc. Series products. of the same type and same proprty data have been designed and made.
Product feature and advantage
1.Compact structure, small volume, beautiful outlook. The lower barycenter of the vertical structure which coincides with the center of the pump feet strengthens the stability of running and the duration.
2.Easy to mount. Because of the same apertures of both inlet and outlet which also locate on the same central line, the pump can be directly mounted on any part of the pipeline just as a valve. The motor is covered with a rainproof cap so that operation can be done outdoors. Mounting feet are equipped with the pump so that it can be stably mounted.
3.Stable running, low noise, high concentricity of components. Bearings of low noise are used for the motor, the impellers are of best dynamic and static balance, no vibration at running and the environment thus being improved.
4.No leakage. The shaft is mechaically sealed with carbide alloy wearable material, settling the serious leakage of the filling seal of a centrifugal pump, extending the duration and ensuring the operation place clean and tidy.
5.Easy to maintain. Not necessary to remove the pipeline for check-out and maintenance, only to take out the nuts on the pump lid, the motor and the driving components.
6.The pump, according to the operation condition of the worksite, may be vertically, horizontally etc. multiways mounted and also according to the requirements for the flow and stroke, mounted in parallel and/or in series to increase the needed flow and head.

Q: QDX is a submersible pump. What does "X" mean?
QDX is a submersible pump model, its specific meaning is:1.Q: submersible pump.2.D: single-phase power supply, three-phase electricity is not marked.3.X: pump, pump type is not marked.Complete submersible pump model will generally add rated flow, rated lift and motor power rating. For example: QDX40-8-1.5, meaning with single-phase 1.5KW motor, rated flow of 40 cubic meters / time, the rated lift of 8 meters under the pump submersible pump.According to the different relative position of pump and motor, submersible pump is divided into pump type and pump type. The pump submersible pump motor in the above, below, this structure greatly reduces the radial size of the pump, so much for submersible pump and small submersible pump operation. Submersible pump submersible pump on top of the pump in the following, it is divided into two types of internal and external type. The submersible pump carries the liquid through the annular flow passage around the motor, then cools the motor and then flows out of the pump outlet. Even though the pump is near the drain sump, there is no need to worry about the temperature rise of the motor, so the application is becoming wider and wider. External pump submersible pump directly from the pressurized water chamber after the impeller or diffuser outlet of discharged liquid, motor is cooled by liquid pumping. As the lower pump structure can work in a relatively shallow liquid, it is often used in submersible pumps for operating surfaces, especially the main structure of large caliber submersible pumps.
Q: We just replaced the motor on our water pump that burnt out but we are still getting no water pressure. My father in law did a lot of test stuff on it he thinks it's the foot valve. Well I've been trying to call every where get quotes but NOT 1 of the places I called is answering their phone for some reason. So how much dose it usually run to have someone come fix your foot valve so I have an idea to tell my husband?
If you want to purchase a foot valve I would suggest you purchase a brass one with a stainless steel screen. where I live that peticular one would cost approximatly $20.00 Also you would need a brass male adapter. Approximately $8.00 and gear clamps All Stainless steel X2 $1.50ea One question: is there water in the pump body? if not then you either have a leak either in the water line leading to the foot valve or the footvalve leakes itself. if there are other questions e-mail Licensed pump installer. good luck. If father inlaw is comfortable doing tests then should be comfortable changing footvalve. with a little bit of help. is it a drilled well or a dug well?
Q: I think my water pump has crapped out on my 1997 Jeep Cherokee. I have been leaking coolant for a few days now and there is a puddle under my Jeep after I turn it off and my reserve tank keeps emptying out on me. I replaced the lower radiator hose and still the same problem. It is not over heating so I am wondering if it IS a water pump problem? If it is, could I do the work myself?
It does sound like the water pump. There is a weep hole on the pump body (behind the pulley). You can run your finger on the bottom side of the pump where the pulley shaft goes into the pump housing - it will be wet if there has been leakage. Replacement of the water pump is not all that difficult. You can call any parts store to get the cost of the pump. While you are in there, replace the serpentine belt that drives the pump and go ahead and replace the radiator hoses (that you haven't already replaced plus the heater hoses and any rubber item touching the coolant flow (this will save your having to look at it again anytime soon). I have replaced a lot of water pumps in my time, and it is not a huge job. You can get a manual at AutoZone or any parts store to help walk you through it. Good luck.
Q: How long would it take before I would see water coming out of the exhaust bellow? I let it run for about 5 seconds or so and shut it of fearing it would burn up. Did this a few times and finally gave up. Pump wasn't hot and impeller was still good. Wondering if I just didn't let it run long enough?
i've always gone by the 30 second rule. even a NEW or emptied for winter motor that must completely fill, 30 seconds should be long enough. if it hasnt begun pumping by that point, i turn it off and give it some time to cool while i double check everything. then i might give it a full 45 seconds. but it wont overheat in less then a couple of minutes. and if its not pumping with the hose hooked up, the impeller is probably bad already anyways. however, if you do even get it near warm, its already hotter then you think it is where the heat is produced, the cylinders, and where you have tight clearances on fast moving parts, the cylinders and pistons. and if it gets too hot, major damage is quickly done. BTW, service period on a merc impeller is always 100 hours or 3 years. or NOW, before the motor is damaged, if unsure of when it was last done. when the impeller is less then $50 (and about an hour labor, if paying for it) and a new motor is THOUSANDS, you cant replace it too often. dennis, you have NO clue. i suggest getting one before you ruin the motor in your own boat. and in the meantime, keep your bad advice to yourself.
Q: What are the quota items for the complete pump installation?
Complete installation of water pump, including:1. pump installation platform, to obtain concrete and reinforced section (if any)2. anchor bolt installation: cap construction reserved bolt mounting holes of the anchor bolt installation hole grouting taking, (may be incorporated into the 1), and the damping piece related item;3. pump installation: installed in the installation of fixed item taking pump, check the wiring and debugging section, the first cable.
Q: I got my oil changed yesterday and took like a 3 hour drive and back home and had no issues.. today I was at my work visiting and I noticed smoke coming from the engine [sort of more of steam] and a lot of smoke coming from the exhaust. The light on the gauge inside the car for the engine temp isn't working but all the other ones are. A mechanic told me it was a bad water pump, but I just want some more opinions. Or if the oil change could of effected that.. My engine coolant wasn't that low but a greenish liquid was really leaking from underneath the car.
An oil change does not make a water pump go bad. Nor does the lack on an oil change. They just go bad over time. Just because there was steam like smoke coming from the exhaust system does not mean there is a water pump problem (water is a natural by product of combustion). Now the green fluid does mean that you have a coolant leak. But that could be because the reservoir was over filled when the engine was serviced. Some shops top off all fluids, and if the tank is over filled the excess has to go some where. But if could be a bad water pump. If so there will be water coming from the weep hole on the water pump. It could also be a bad hose. So unless I craw under it and take a good look, I don't know. If you do replace the water pump, and you have a timing belt that can be replaced, spring for the extra parts because in many cases the labor is already being paid for and the parts are less expensive then the labor at a later date. FYI: I do water pumps every other belt replacement for this reason.
Q: We have 2 1995 E320's that are heating up way too high when running. One has been diagnosed at the repair shop for a malfunctioning fan clutch. They also said that as the car was running hot the water pump and thermostat should also be replaced (??) The water pump is 5.5 hours of labor and I cannot afford it right now. I was wondering how hard to replace it myself. Thanks
I just replaced a water pump on my C Class 220 cdi it cost me ?40 for the pump and under an hour to change it ,but it was gone and you could hear it was gone,so i doubt if its the pump,it may be that the thermostat is jamming ,or if the water is boiling over its much worse it could be the cylinder head gasket but you should definitely get a second opinion and avoid the mercedes dealers they just charge an arm and a leg good luck.
Q: I REPLACED MY WATER PUMP ON MY 1988 CHEROKEE,THE NEW PUMP STARTED MAKING THE SAME BEARING NOISE.
A 1998 Jeep Cherokee became overheating. i stumbled on that the impeller on the water pump became worn away by using contaminates in the antifreeze. to envision for coolant flow deploy a antifreeze flush adapter in between the heater hoses. Its only am adapter to in fantastic condition a backyard hose to the coolant equipment to flush it. With the automobile operating loosen the adapter fill cap. Coolant ought to come out with significant rigidity. If it only weeps out or dribbles out the pump is incorrect.
Q: Engine problem 1999 Nissan Sentra 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 165000 miles ---------------------------------------------------------------- I have a leaking water pump that has to be replaced. I am calling around getting prices and some people tell me that I have to do the timing chain at the same time and that will be a great deal more money. Can I just replace the water pump? It seems that the water pump only will be about 200.00 but both could be 500.00. Please help
nissans are a pain in the @s$
