Q: Does a current carrying conductor experiences a force onlywhen the current is in the same direction as the magnetic field?
The answer to your question is, No. Fq* v*B*sin(theta) F: Magnetic force. q: Charge inside the conductor (in this case, that is causing the current). v: Velocity of charged particle. B: Magnetic Field. Theta: is the angle between the velocity vector and magnetic field vector (angle between v B). So if the current is in the same direction as the magnetic field, the angle between (v B) is zero or 180 degrees making sin(theta)0 which means F0 It experiences a force only when the current is perpendicular to the magnetic field or at least makes an angle theta with the field that is not zero or 180. what this means is there has to be a velocity component normal to the magnetic field.

Q: I need a means of driving a 3 horsepower induction motor re-purposed as an induction generator which would coincide with specific cost-effective parameters. If you are serious about selling power to your utility; ask if they will accept inverter output. If so, an inverter can lock phase with fairly simple circuitry. Using HD diode isolation simplfies voltage matching. You would be wiser to generate low voltage DC from solar panels or a wind turbine. (Noise and pollution free.) Talk to a utility rep first to learn their requirements.

Q: about diesel generator
Water cooled is hydrolic obviously and it don't really go faster depends what horse power the engine or motor is. Air cooled is just your basic diesal that need a spark to start and needs air to cool down.

A cellphone can also be charged with a little hand sized charger using a couple of AA Batteries. There are wind-up radios available. If you need light, Tino-sby has the right answer. Note: Diesel is best because the fuel is much less inflammable, and does not decay when stored for long periods. Q: I am looking for a portable propane generator primarily as a home backup. I have a couple models in mind but have no clue about the quality. they seem to have good reviews, but wanted to ask in here anyways. i'm looking at the Sportsman GEN7000LP or Powerland PD3G8500E Tri-Fuel. anyone have experience with either of these? or can recommend a similarly capable brand/model?
Why a propane unit? Propane cost more per gallon that gasoline or diesel. If you have access to natural gas it would make more sense.
Q: How much is the waste of the power that may be lost in the combination of two engine and where I can find the diagram that shows the relation between rpm and HP in the combined two diesel engine.this two engine combined with a clutch that synchronize two engine for two input in gears and single output.
It's best to connect them at the crank so that they can be timed to fire in a manner that your getting the most amount of power you can. This has been done in applications as small as a .12cc engine all the way up to huge engines that power large ships. The most common place I used to see it is with gas engines for tractor pull. The engines do sync up and will run together when you pair them up thru a clutch
