If something like that is possible you might want to look into either trying to build or buy a small gas generator or a steam piston that you could then use to generate electricity. Otherwise water, wind or solar is your best bet. Solar probably won't work to well unless you can afford to buy panels, making them isn't really an option. Look into wind, but hydro power especially wouldn't be that hard.

THE SMALLER YOU CAN GET BY WITH ( REMEMBER ITS AN EMERGENCY) THE LESS; LUGGING IT AROUND, ITS SMALLER LESS FUEL - IT RUNS LONGER ON WHAT FINITE SOURCE YOU HAVE ( LIKE MAYBE A TANK OF GAS OUT OF YOUR SECOND CAR)!
