- You can pay outright for a sofa but I don't think you can give them cash. They never gave me the option to anyway. A cheque or debit transaction is fine. So you can pay in a lump sum or over a period of X amount of years. I just brought a Dfs sofa and they are a bunch of con artists. I waited four months for delivery and then my sofa wouldn't fit through the front door (it's a regular-sized door - I don't know what castles they've been delivering to) so I refused the delivery (didn't fancy building an extension around the sofa). Went back at the weekend and they refused to give me my money back! They said they manufactured the sofa in good faith and I have to choose another one. So I ended up paying another ?300 for a more expensive sofa - a sofa which is delivered with its back unattached and they fix the two parts together in the house (so this more expensive sofa *will* fit through the door; funny that). Now I'm having words with a lawyer to see if I can get the difference knocked off my new sofa. So anyway, my point is... if there is any - any - option you can take which allows you to NOT pay until the sofa is safely in your home then take it. I'm not taking about credit either - the contracts are also legally binding. See if you can work out a debit arrangement, where the money is taken out of your bank ONLY after the sofa has been delivered. If they don't do that, find a place that does.

- Q: I can't find a retail store that carries sleeper sofa mattresses to save my life. I've found several places online that sell them... but if I don't like them I'm stuck. No one lets you return them. I've done my research and I think I want to go with either a memory foam sofa bed mattress or latex sofa bed mattress. - ok. the best color that it will look againt will be a multicoloe beinge/white/tan/vanilla combonation/. it will give u an overall light flooring with all of the best shades. now if i were u i will go for a laminate floor. which after all will be about the same cost as the carpet. n will get it in a blunt color very liht tone to make the furniture pop. these floors r esier to clean, dont hold dust n such n will last a long time. ur furniture sounds very nice. it deerves a great floor. hope i helpeed n good luck!

- You have a real challenge, since the odor got into the foam of the cushions. I am providing a link to several methods that do work. My preference is to use vinegar-water. You can be sloppy with it, since you really need to get the solution into the foam.

- It says the Thickness: 7 1/8 That is typically too thick and will not fold back down into the sofa. Traditionally sofa beds are known for not being very comfy. To thin, so you cannot build it with enough padding or coils. You may want to use the existing mattress and just add a topper too it for comfort.
