- You can try using Dawn dishwashing liquid or a 1/2 and 1/2 water and vinegar solution. Put a small amount Dawn or vinegar solution on a soft cloth or very soft-bristled brush and use a circular motion to work the cleaner into the spot. Use a soft damp cloth or damp paper towels to clean up the residue by blotting. Or, if that doesn't work, I would get a brown paper bag and an iron. Place the bag over the vaseline and use the iron on its lowest setting to iron over the spot. The vaseline will end up melting onto the bag. You may need to do it a couple times if the spot is very big or messy. Good luck!

- I can pretty much guarentee any sofa built will fit thru a 36 wide door; otherwise, no one would be able to buy them because they couldn't get them in the house.. If it is a fully upholstered sofa, the feet probably come off. Anyway, tilting the sofa forward (as in towards the front of the sofa, not towards the guy in the lead) as you go thru the door should get you the space you need. good luck. - Q: Does microfiber start to turn rough and pill? I've had a microfiber sofa for about a month and its starting to feel grainy and pill like a sweater would, I can't imagine what it will look and feel like 6 months from now. I spoke to the store and they say they can change the fabric but will not guarantee it won't just happen again. Is this normal or did the store sell me something that is not really microfiber. The label says the covering is 100% polyester, is that what all microfiber sofas say? The showroom sofa was nice and soft not like mine at all. I was sold a microfiber sofa and I have a feeling its really not. Can someone please let me know if its is normal for this to happen before I goes nuts on the store, like I said I've only had then sofa for a month. Thanks.
- Microfiber is just a fancy word for polyester - a recent way to erase the image of the polyester suit from the 70s. The only thing that matters is the fact that you are not satisfied with the quality of the fabric so let the store bend over backwards to please you. I have microfiber sheets that are not supposed to pill - but they do, mainly by the foot area.

- Q: I've had dark blue upholstered sofas and black dogs for years with no problems. The dogs shed, but it doesn't show up on the sofas. However I recently rescued an English Mastiff and she's got light hair, which shows up really bad against the dark colors.
