- If you are talking about stained upholstery, try Oxy cleaner or I had great success with a product called LA Totally Awesome. If you are talking about the smell of urine in the sofa, take off the covers on the cushions and take the foam rubber outside and let it air-out for a few days in a dry place. You can also take the cushion covers to the dry cleaners and they can get virtually any stain out. I do not recommend washing the covers as shrinkage is likely.
