Well, I have been spritzing my favorite deodorizer, Get Seriousand letting it dry to no avail.Has anyone had any luck with getting cat stinkies out?: You have to detect and eradicate. The actual pee area might be greater than you think, or there might be more than one peed area. You need a UV flashlight to detect all of the pee areas. Be sure to do it in a dark room or at night with all the lights off. Prepare to get grossed out. Eradication requires more than deodorizing and actual destruction. Enzymatic cleaners are the trick. I use Urine Gone but others work too. Just look for enzymatic action on the package.

Q: My cat loves to sleep on the sofa that I just bought. so I am trying to find a way to protect my furniture from my cat's hair.: Cover the new sofa with a pretty quilt or sheet, or sofa cover only they are expensive to buy. It seems that with futons they are easier to fold down into a bed but sitting up on them may not be that comfortable.: Sofa beds are quite easy to use and depending on price are quite comfortable. Futons come in a variety of looks from a dorm room plain to a real sofa look and also depend on what you pay to get the comfort. Both require spending a little more to get comfort and style. They both require bedding. You don't actually sleep on the futon mattress. It still needs sheets so it would take the same amount of make up time. You still need to protect the futon base cushion. Try both sofa beds and futons in the stores in the different price levels. You will note the difference in a higher quality piece.

Q: I recently purchased a microfiber sofa and declined the fabric protection - I guess that's the first mistake. I've had the sofa a little over a week and there are four-five huge blue/black spots on the sofa!!! No one has spilled anything and we can not figure out where these stains are coming from. For instance, I fell asleep on the sofa last night and when I woke up this morning, there was a huge blue spot under the space I sat. I was wearing grey pants so I can't figure out where the blue is coming from. There was also a spot under where my feet were and I was wearing white socks so its not my clothing fabric bleeding onto the sofa. I am at a complete loss! My cover doesn't come off to wash and I don't know how to get rid of these spots but I'm furious after paying so much money for a sofa that these spots are showing up, seemingly out of nowhere. Any enlightenment would be welcome!: I would immediately contact the store where you purchased your sofa. It sounds like perhaps they have covered a black lining with your microfiber and when you put pressure on it or perhaps perspire a little the black is bleeding through. In any event I would advise them you wish to have the sofa replaced. Money is too hard to come by!
