Can I get sofa stamps on my passport or do I need to notify that I am leaving States more than 6 months so that I don't loose my greencard?I do not want to loose my greencard by moving back to Japan. His job is SOFA status, so I think I don't have to worry about it? Please give me an advice.: You don't have to worry as long as his orders/job allow for him to have his family with him. Not only can you keep your green card, but your absence from the USA does not break your period of continuous residence for naturalization purposes. You cannot get a SOFA Stamp in a Japanese passport because you are Japanese. His orders will suffice as long as they are accompanied.

Q: My dog peed craped on my sofa and it really smells bad , I have used cleaners, the pee smell still lingers.HELP!!!!!: maybe go rent a steamer or something like that and see if that will work to get the smell out. There will be some indoor plants also ...hence the thought for a green rug...Thanks for the help.....: Choose a lighter green, perhaps a 'sea green' that has lots of 'white' in it ... or choose a pale yellow color. I like the hunter green carpet and the 'sea green' walls, though ... but if you do use the 'same' color, just lighter, then you'll need to choose a good 'contrasting' color to 'brighten up' the whole room ... a nice 'medium red' would work, or a 'pattern' with pink and burgundy would also be good.

Q: How to maintain fabric sofas?: We have suggestions: 1. Absorb the dust at least once per week. Pay attention to the dust in the corner. 2. If the pad is reversible, reverse it once a week to distribute the wear uniformly. It can be also flapped outdoors to soften the internal fiber, so that the flexibility of the sofa can be kept. 3.If there is some spotting on the sofa, dip the dishtowel some water to wipe it off. You’d better wipe it from the brim of the spotting. As for the velour sofa, do not use water, use the dry cleaning agent to clear it. 4. All the cover and lining should be cleared by dry cleaning, not by water, Forbidden blanching. 5. If the thrum is loosen, do not pull it by hand, use the scissors to cut it.
