Q: i want to get some lounge furniture. is it worth considering fabric furniture... are they harder to look after do they wear quicker and look horrible after a few years... i'm not into putting plastic covers over everything like everybody loves raymond.: Eww I know what you mean about the plastic. Nasty! We have leather, but to be honest it's got quite scratched, just from daily use. We've had it for a few years. Nothing lasts forever and you will have to replace your furniture every few years anyway, so you might as well get whatever you like. Leather is so expensive and it doesn't really last as long as you might think. I'm getting fabric next time.

Q: how do you clean suede sofas lol: You can only clean with a damp rag along the way the pile goes.If you check with a Saddelry or leather shop you might be able to use a leather soap.

Q: Thoughts on this sofa?: I think its neat. It looks nice and deep, it's stylish, but also looks like it'd be great to cuddle up with somebody and watch a movie. I like the style, the wide arms are fun and convenient to set things on (although that could cause clutter). It also looks heavy, but if your not planning on moving around, that shouldn't really be a problem!

It measure approx. 28 across and 67 for height.: You have some good answers...just remember you can always take off the molding and frame to squeeze out another 4 to 5 inches of width. Q: My 19 year old step son ate a greasy breakfast, sitting on my fine designer sofa. He knows NOT to eat any thing sitting on the sofa, and that he is to sit at the table, or bar, when eating.
