Q: The height of my door is 87 inches and the width is 36meanwhile my sofa is 90L x 39W x 40H: Depends on if you have to go around a tight corner right at the entrance, but I see no problem. All you need to do is take off the feet (usually they unscrew) and that should give you the 4 or so you need to pass through the door frame. You can also unscrew the door from its hinges and remove the door temporarily, to get that out of your way. Take the hinges out of the door from, not the hinges from the door itself. Then, you will have to flip the sofa up, so that the narrowest part is passing through the door, and the part that is 40 is up and down in the doorway. Sometimes it's easier if you tilt the sofa to make the back of the sofa and the bottom into a right-angle vee, pointing at the side of the doorframe. You need some strong help to do this. If you are having it delivered by the furniture company, you will be impressed at how efficiently the delivery crew gets that thing into your house.

Q: will alcohol kill fleas on sofa?: I don't know if alcahol will but when we get fleas in the house we give our pets flea drops, ( The good ones, like Advatix or something. Watch out for the cheaper drops like, Heartz. my cats almost died taking that one time.) and flea collars. And the fleas go away In about a week.

Q: I tried one at walmart and its not comfortable to sleep on it and I want to sleep on it every day. Does any body know one that is comfortable as a bed and as a sofa? Can you tell me where to find it and how much it was or can you give me an internet link? Thanks: I've never slept on a sofa bed that was comfortable. The mattresses are too thin for comfort. However, most of the time, the main purpose of a sofa bed is convenience, not comfort. They are a furniture item meant for occasional or short-term use. I think if you are going to Paris, you can stand a sofa bed for two weeks! I know I could, unless it was paper thin and I was sleeping on metal bars. In that case, I'd buy a blanket or a cheap mattress foam pad to plump it up a bit. I think you'll be okay. Concentrate on enjoying Paris!

Q: I have 2 small children and 2 cats. The cats (whom I have not declawed because they are indoor/outdoor), have tore up each corner of both my sofa loveseat while using them as a scratching post. There have also been a few accidents while changing my baby's diapers on the sofa. So I pan to get them cleaned and then slipcover them both. But there are a few styles of clipcovers ~ snug/hug fit, relaxed fit that hangs, and then a combo of both. I have noticed that the combo fit (the latest style) is most attractive. The problem here is that the snug area of this cover is on the exact spots that my cats used to scratch. I am thinking that they will be able to get their claws into this as well. And if they can, they will as they have done the same to every corner of every mattress in the house. So lets say I go for the relaxed fit, is there any suggestions of what I should look for? Any problems with certain ones? Am I wrong about the snug fit being a continual issue with the cats? Thanx!: I like the stretch kind. They fit so much better. The cats are another problem. We just lost our 23 year old last month. You will have to retrain them. I used clear packing tape on the corners. She didn't like the feel. Matter of fact she found another piece to scratch. Q: How to keep frabic sofa clean?: Put sofa cover so it does't soil very easily. Also, ask for dry cleaners in your area to clean your sofa.

Q: Well we bought a new sofa and i cant get my cat off it! And now, its covered with cat hair .I tried vacuming but its not off completely.So any suggestions ? And also no matter how many times i move her off the sofa she still climbs back,so any advice to keep her off the sofa would also be appreciated!: i'm not sure what it's called,my sister has one that she bought at wal-mart. It's a hair remover that looks like a squeegie,she says it works awsome and they have a new couch and love seat as well as three cats lol. I use a blanket for my cats to sleep on,it is always the same blanket and now if I don't want my cats on the couch or chairs etc. I can just put 'thier' blanket where I want and that is where they will sleep...Good luck

Q: i have a tiny 1 inch cut in sofa, how can i fix it myself??: Sew a cute patch over it. Duct tape works good on mine. (It`s good to be a Red Neck!) Place piece of material under, like duct tape. Use a circular needle (U buy at hobby or sewing place) Blind stitch (If you know how to sew!)
