- Well have you tried using one of the disposable wipes? I have noticed they remove stains well on clothes, but I am not sure about suede..you might want to spot try a section in the back of your sofa to see if it's safe. Or, Armstrong Floor Cleaner is a neutral cleaner with a citrus base that works well on carpeting and doesn't pull up the color. (It's made for floors, but you can use it for other things.)
- Q: I am getting new sofa and love seat,...should I match wallpaper to sofas or sofas to wallpaper?
- I personally think that it is more important to pick out your sofa and love seat. --- Not wallpaper. I also recommend that you paint your walls. It is much easier to change when you tire of it.
- Q: I have a small living room and have been trying to find suitable furniture that is not too overstuffed/big. The other issue is that the door is 30-31 inches wide and most furniture heights and depths are bigger than this. I have looked at Ikea's products and I'm considering the Karlstad loveseat or the new Sater sofa, which is a 2.5 seat leather sofa. Is Ikea furniture comfortable and durable. How good is the leather? How well does the furniture age? I don't want it looking shabby after a short while. - Hi sweet33 Sectional sofas are not difficult to put together. I do suggest perhaps to save yourself some time and energy, that you sketch out the floor plan of your apt. Do a rough draft of where you think you will place the sofa set. Doing this will give you some valuable information. How many sofa placements options you have for a variety of arrangements. Some sectionals are not easy to work within the room, because of the left arm of right arm of the sofa, placement of the sofa and size of the room that will include doorways, pathways. Also make note of the height of the sofa(s) as much of today's furniture is over sized. With that said, also check the doorway measurements to your apt to be certain that upon delivery the set will be easily brought into the apt. :o) Happy Decorating
- Q: How can I safely clean my cotton sofa?
- I don't know that you can satisfactorily. It is best to have a professional come in and clean it for you; the risk of getting the batting over-wet is too great and you won't know you did that for at least a month when the mould grows under and through it. Some places use a water-based cleaner and a vacuum type cleaner to clean sofas, but they know just how much to add to it to avoid over wetting it. You can freshen it up with things like Febreze, but actual cleaning should be left to professionals.
- Q: i just moved with my husband (active US Army) to Germany..I have my country's passport and my husband is a US Citizen..I know for tourist,that its up to 90 days to live in Germany..Im command sponsored but was told to get a SOFA stamp in order to reside in Germany..For those who were stationed in Germany or overseas know that its about 2-3 years to be stationed overseas..i was told in order to get a SOFA stamp,i need to get some kind of USA visa (green card)..theres some spouse,same situation,just applied for SOFA stamp and got approved without getting a permenant residence card (green card)...the military legal is no help and its hard getting thru the US consulate..any suggestion would help..thanks :)
- you don't want a green Card with the intention to get a settee Stamp. this is purely incorrect. All acceptable solutions are for 10 factors. in case you're command subsidized, and you're saying you're, you're taking your passport and a replica of his orders to admin and enable them to technique the settee Stamp for you.

- I just got a used Broyhill couch and it's in wonderful condition. A lady at church gave it to us when she moved, and it's several years old. But it's almost like new. Still very firm, the cushions still fit well. It's great.
- Q: i want to put new fabric on it..... i dont want to spend hundreds on reupholstering it.... how can i do it myself without burning a hole in my pocket.....
- If you like to sew and are pretty good at it... maybe you would like to just make a slip cover? I would go to the library and check out some books on reupholstering.... depending on the style it might be hard. My mom made a slip cover to cover the body of her sofa and then sewed pillow case around the loose pillows so it didn't look like a slip cover (like one piece of fabric draped over it.)

- Seriously, dont waist your money on store bought products, this will only mask the problem and will not totally clean it, the smell will still be their, maybe you cant smell it, but your dog can,.... and will pee there again and again, Call a carpet cleaning company and have them professionally clean your sofa, this is the only sure fire way to get it totally clean. Should cost about 50-75 dollars
