- I don't know if your area has any stores, but Big Lots has sectionals right now for $299.00 they also have a web site!! Also, check around where you have flee markets, in my area there is usually a tractor trailer with new furniture on it for cheap money, and some Habitat for Humanity (reuse) stores have brand new furniture its more or less a shot in the dark but some get lots of new stuff in daily.. hope it helps

- there really is no way of telling but you do have to have at least 3 litters 4 is recommended You need to how ever get that cat smell out of the sofa to avoid them doing it again, at least it wasn't urine tho that would have been worse. Just about any super store will have the right chemicals for you. Even if you can't smell it cats probably still can specially if they know.

- You must sit on a sofa to determine leg length, neck support, whether or not is has an foot rest, etc. Leather is very nice. What suits one for comfort is terrible for another. Since it's 3 h away, I'd buy something local and really sit and test for all family members. And, if there's a problem you call your local dealer. Good luck!
- Q: I have an old wing back style sofa that I'd like to re-upholster. I've tried slipcovers, but they never fit right and they slip and slide and just look messy. Is this something I could learn to do on my own, or is this too much of an undertaking for a beginner? I can sew, and have a sew. machine (a regular Kenmore, not a heavy duty). - to reupholster a wing sofa is not easy if you have never done it before. To do it properly you will need to remove the old fabric and make the inside arm and inside wings joined. the outside wings and arms separately it is difficult to explain without having the sofa. I would recommend you look in your local Thompson or yellow pages for a professional. If you want to recover it yourself, you could make a slip cover in sections ( made to fit exactly) and then hand sew then to the existing cover, you can hide your stitches in where the wings and arms join the mack. Make a template by laying a piece of an old sheet or curtain over and pinning then cutting to shape, you then have the pattern pieces to lay on your fabric and cut. best of luck

I have gotten $2000.00 sofas and $500.00 sofas and they have very little different when it comes to the quality of how they are made. I know the best fabric is Leather... I just need a brand that is also great for kids; who can't sit without plopping or jumping or what ever else they do when parents aren't around.
