An easy ways to start with a piece of nylon carpet. If you are doing a small rug about 18 x 27get a carpet sample at a carpet for about $1. Go a craft store and get permeate markers of the colors you want and just color the carpet. Markers and the dye used to color carpet are about the same thing. You can also get pieces of carpet, cut to shape and glue together. You can also braid cloth together to make a braided rug. There are lots of craft books to show you how.

Thanks.: Sometimes you can just cut nail polish off carpet with scissors. Often the polish is just on the tips of the carpet fibers and you can just snip these right off. If you pull up while snipping, you're less likely to get a divot in the carpet. However, if you have used nail polish remover on the stain, it's possible you've worked the nail polish down into the carpet. If this is the case, I don't think there is much you can do to remove the nail polish. Good luck. -

At this price it will get you just a low quality carpet w/o warranties and a cheap pad. Check padding out , get a minimum of 5 1/2 # . This will cover your carpet warranties. When you get to the 3$ a s/f then you ll be getting into the carpets with a 5 and 7 years warranties.And these are more of themid range carpets. Watch the warranties, some will offer only stain blockers.Get the anti mat, anti crush protection. Wear warranties are different than the anti mat , anti crush, so watch that. GL
