- It's a complicated process if you do not have the proper tools. I would recommend hiring a carpet installer to install your carpet. It has to be properly stretched and seems need to be made perfect so you cannot see them.

No, you may not install wall to wall carpeting over a laminate floor. It would be a mess and a headache you don't want. It's a floating floor it's not attached to the floor pick up the laminate and foam and throw it away. Loose lay or double faced tape idea is the only option to leave laminate in place if for some reason it's a have to situation that I can truly understand. Your manufacture's warranty's are in place for a reason. To give you a length of time to expect your carpeting to last. With proper installation methods. Including a wear warranty and texture retention warranty. Both of those would be void if the carpet is not installed with a minimum 6 lb density foam pad for cut pile carpet or 20oz felt pad for looped carpet over a stable substrate. Unless of course it is installed using a gluedown method with an adhesive. I don't believe you would be able to find a glue that would adhere to the laminate surface without being really toxic. - The carpet tiles are easier to install. They have the advantage that if you make a spot on one, you can lift it up and replace it. Great if you have kids or pets. They just snap together from what I've seen. Haven't priced them, though, so I can't tell about that.

- i don't believe there is a solvent for crazy glue. you may try ice to freeze it then clip at it with fingernail clippers so as to not take out to much at a time. good luck

- Q: I'm getting ready to put new frieze carpet (similar to a shaggy carpet). I have a dyson vacume cleaner I have heard that it doesnt vacume that well on frieze carpet. Is that true? Is that type of carpet durable? Thanks for your feedback.
- I can't answer for the dyson question, but I have frieze carpet in my house and love it. the husband wanted full blown shag and I compromised (I wanted berber) any way, it is durable, tough and does not mat.really happy with it and we have it in the highest traffic areas of our house - the hallway and stairs as well as the master bathrooms. every time I vacuum, it looks just like it did the day they put it in. I have a kirby and vacuuming it is a breeze. I have not had any issues other than not being able to find earrings in the carpet if I drop them. It cleans beautifully as well.

- I'll assume you mean wall-to-wall carpeting. You might look at a grey rug, maybe a medium to light grey. Not necessarily very exciting, perhaps, but I suggest that because carpet is hard to change. Once it's in, it's probably going to stay in for a while. Paint colour is relatively simple to change, and grey goes with many colours. Pink can go with aqua as long as you choose the right shades of both. It would have a sort of tropical feel to it and would look best with other colours that are light and bright. Tan is not going to go too well with pink, probably, but has a better chance of looking okay with aqua. Wouldn't be my first choice of a colour combo but could be all right. Grey would go well with tan and aqua.
