Turn the rug over and cut from the back, placing the straight edge where you want it and cut along it. Make sure your cutting over something that won t either dull the knife or you cut something that is under the rug. The new binding may or may not match, if the place has access to binding, they ll have a color chart. Plus they ll be able to tell you if its bound or surged , which costs more.
