- Q: Does the carpet need bonding pads without stitching?
- Carpet is divided into two kinds, one is the coil, and the other is sheet (bulk).Generally, carpet carpets need to be covered with rubber mats.Do not splice carpet should say, sheet carpet, do not need to lay glue cushion, direct spread on cement ground can
- Q: They aren't succeeding, though the rug pad might get shredded eventually. Anyway. This is some kind of display to get my attention, but I don't understand why they think I would like that.
- Cats scratch not to get your attention. They do it for two main reasons... 1. to keep their claws sharp, and 2. to mark their territory. And this looks like what yours are doing, especially if this is a common area where all the cats are scratching. It's sort of like a bulletin board for cats, where they all come over and sign-in with their scents. They don't care whether you LIKE it or not. If you wish to STOP it, then try to spray the area with a commercially available spray that discourages them. It provides a cover scent that they don't like. If they don't smell the others' scents, they will not scratch there... it's like they're trying to put their scent over top of the others. Check your pet shop for such sprays. Me... kittyslave23... I know my place.
- Q: When I first started buying stuff for my house,I bought a hundred different colors of rugs for every place.. Now I want to match all colors with other furniture, but I dont have the heart to get rid of the older ones..they are almost new..How can I match everything without a heartbreak??
- It would be awful to discard all those beautiful rugs.... they will be adding a touch of colour and contrast to your home. Have you considered having the rooms one colour and keeping the rugs as contrast? If you really must get rid of them maybe you could donate them to a charity and know that someone will make good use of them? Or sell them and use the money to buy your new matching rugs.
- Q: i have just bought a thoroughbred who has a very fine coat despite the fact it is winter, he lived out at his previous home but with 2 rugs on. i want to continue having him living out but with so many rugs out there and not having to rug previous horses i am a bit confused! do you have any brands you recomend? how many rugs do you think he will need?i live in england so it can get a bit cold in the winter, i want to rug him because i would rather he keep his nice thin coat and also he is sued to being rugged and what with moving home and meeting all the new horses, not having a rug on might be a bit of a shock to the system!
- I would definitely say that Weatherbeeta are the best brand for affordable but comfortable and hard wearing rugs. I've had my weatherbeeta rugs for two years and only had them washed, not reproofed even though one of my horses is a rug wrecker. I have a TB myself and I know how much of a pain it is to rug them! They are very prone to chills and don't really grow an incredibly fluffy coat. Here in scotland its already reached only 4 degrees at night and my hands are frozen, and plus the wind chill makes it a very cold night. My boys are both in mediumweights without necks at the moment at night and lightweights during the day. However this is also because they are getting clipped next week and I want to prepare them for that and not let them get too soft beforehand! For my TB I have this wardrobe - 1 x Lightweight (Mark Todd brand - very good durable, I would say the best out there) 2 x Mediumweight with and without a neck (both Weatherbeeta) 2 x Heavyweight with and without a neck (Mark Todd and Rambo - very good but very expensive brand) The two of the mediumweight / heavyweights mean that in the midst of winter when it gets absolutely FREEZING I can double rug, putting a mediumweight over a heavyweight or vice versa. I also have stable rugs but that depends on whether you are stabling them or not.
- Q: I had my boss come over for dinner last night and his 15 year olD pooped on my rug and it stinks how can i get the stain out
- try some diaper soaker .first try iit onsome part oof the rug that can't be seen in case it takes the colour of the rug out .then use it carefully ,not too much soaker.about half a cup in a litre of water get as much of the poop off as you can before you start then gently drawing the stain to the center from each side dab on the diaper soaker. you will need to put the soaker in some warm water. when you think you have got it cleaned up get a micro cotton towel and put it over the stain and stand on it .this will soak up most of the water .you may have to repeat this to get it all out .
- Q: Our cat pees on our rug and we don`t know why. The main part is we can`t get the smell of the rug. We have this huge piece of tinfoil and it says that he would be scared of it and not even walk on it but he walks right over and starts biting at it. Now that the tinfoil is there he won`t pee on the tinfoil but he finds a new spot on the rug. We spray this stuff on the rug that we got from our vet but it would take like 10 bottles of it to take the pee smell off. Is there anything that you tried that takes up smell our anything you think is good to use? We are thinking off letting him be an outdoor cat so he will pee out there but we are not sure. We also have a we also have one of those squirt bottles that we filled up with water so if we catch him then we can squirt him. But we still need help!
- You have a couple of things to do. 1. Your cat pees on the rug because there is already the smell of cat urine in and on the rug. He will continue to do this as long as that rug is in your premises. The rug must be removed and the floor underneath assessed. If the floor underneath has any odor, he will pee on it so, that floor would have to be replaced. 2. The most important thing is the fact that since you have a male cat, he be neutered. Neutering should occur at the age of six months and just before he is sexually mature. If he is allowed to reach maturity and then neutered, if he has any ideas about sex, he will spray after being neutered. This is an individual thing. The majority of male cats won't spray but, you must neuter at six months. 3. If there is any urine odor in the house, your cat will spray. Unfortunately, this is the way it is. All the things that you have thought about will not work. It is just that simple. Sad but true. Neutering of the male is the most important thing. 4. In an attempt to retrain him to be a clean cat, lock him in a bathroom with his litter box and food and do this for a number of days. This retraining process may work and may not work but, it is worth a try. I wish you every luck with this problem. It is a difficult one. It is also not the cat's fault. He is only doing what comes naturally.
