Money is not a big concern.: I love my carpet have had it about 4 years.. its made of recycled plastic milk cartons, according to my carpet dealer they are all making this type of carpet now, but mine was from Mohawk. There are certain letters on it I think its PET, ask your carpet dealer. It will not stain at all.. I really don't see any traffic marks and part of the carpet is in an area between 2 doorways that gets a lot of traffic. It looks like a normal wool/ polyester carpet it feels just as soft but has great durability, I highly recommend it! The other type I would recommend is berber.. its not as soft.. and if you have pets it wouldn't work like my carpet(cats like to scratch on it and it will stain) but it won't show a traffic pattern its very strong and used in more office settings than homes.
