Packing of Chinese Knot Rug With Viscose Hotel Carpet
- Q: How to clean down the ink stain on the carpet?
- Immediately knead the carpet with rice, and then use neutral detergent to clean it
- Q: I used RESOLVE High Traffic Carpet Cleaning Kit a few months ago. I didn't think it even worked, but to my dismay, I believe it has made my carpet dirtier. I probably should have tried getting some of the soap up, but I had no idea that leaving soap (even if the directions tell you that you only need to vacuum) that it could lead to the stains sticking more.So now, the areas that I used the product on have turn one shade away from black (we have white carpet).I just used a Bissell carpet steamer and the whole area looks the same!WHAT DO I DO?!I fear a professional won't be able to get it out either...
- Leaving soap on the carpet will attract ever bit of dirt that comes in contact with the carpet. I would call in a professional at this point.
- Q: The previous owner of my home put up walls for separate rooms OVER existing carpet in the basement. He/she did not install baseboard along the new walls. I'm planning on replacing the carpet in the basement as well as installing baseboard along the walls. What should I do first? The carpet installer is going to have to cut the carpet from underneathe the walls in order to replace it. Should I wait until after the new carpet is installed or can I go ahead and put the new baseboard in regardless?
- Carpet first .. baseboard after..to hide the staples..and hold the carpet edge down..if you put carpet in after baseboards you will have problems with unravelling of the carpet with your vacuum..carpets first.
- Q: My living and dining room are one room. (not a huge room) I bought an area rung which I would consider classic. It has about 9 rows of different color rectangles ( beiges, golds, browns, and burgundies) with a beige border for under my dining room table. I saw another rug with basically the same colors but with more burgundy. It has bigger rectangles that are all different sizes. Some are big stripes and not in any particular order. It is hard to describe. Can I put them together? One in the living room and one under the table? From the end of one to the beginning of other there would only be about 18 inches? Thanks
- It's hard to say without pics but as long as there are a few similar colors between the two then I'd say they'd work great - after all we are talking about two seperate areas in one big space so I wouldn't say they'd have to match exactly.
- Q: I am just wondering in the 30's 40'5 and 50's how they cleaned carpets in there house. I know at some point the vacuum cleaner was invented but for actual carpet cleaning (with a carpet cleaner) how did they clean the carpet. I am not talking about spot cleaning either but all over carpet cleanings. Thankss
- They used brush as a carpet cleaner. I saw it once in the movie I forgot the tittle it was an epic movie. It is like a dog brush but the strands are different than the normal brush.
- Q: If I were to keep a horse turned out 24/7 in all seasons which rugs would I need?If possible, say where I could layer rugs to minimize buying loads of different kinds. Thanks in advance (:
- It depends on your horse's breed. If it's a QH or something thicker skinned like that, it won't need a rug at all unless it gets REALLY cold (below 10 degrees is bad for everyone, people and animals alike) or you're trying to keep a nice show coat. If your horse is thin-skinned like a TB, you'll need rugs in the winter. In the summer, you shouldn't need a rug. Once it starts getting into the 40s at night, put on a light turnout rug. When it starts getting into the 20s at night, put on a heavier turnout. If and when it gets pretty cold at night, like below 20, layer the light and heavy turnout rug with a cooler or stable blanket.
- Q: I just bought this big wool shag Rug.. and its really nice except it shedding..there is red hair balls everywere... on the floor...on my cloths ...its almost like having a big red dog that sheds constantly! what can i do ? is there something to spay on it ? someone suggested to me to use hairspray???... any advice?
- Let me know when you find a solutions, because I have one too. Just don't walk on it. It will not shed if nobody touch it. It is good for looking, not practical. And you can't use vaccum on it, got take it outside to beat it.
- Q: How is the carpet cut, cut and cut the difference?
- Cut flowers in general by the shearing machine from the top color wool roll of fabric to complete. As part of color and suede shearing at the top of the convex cut out, and some in color and suede shearing recess is not top has not been cut, and the formation of pattern texture prominent.
- Q: I've just moved into a beautiful older home (125 years) and, although it's been recently re-wired, there just isn't always an outlet where I need it. I live with my elderly mother and do not want to take a chance that she might trip over a cord. When I do short tasks like ironing or vacuuming, can I slip the excessive cord under a rug so that she will not encounter it with her feet. She is absolutely sure that I'll burn the house down - and she's incredibly intelligent, but I'd like to hear from a real fire prevention expert.Thank you for your expertise - I think that safety is essential - paranoia is a bit much, though!
