- Q: The rug with the rubber backing. If no, why not? I have been told not too but someone said it is no big deal.

- Q: Will peroxide remove rust stains from carpet?
- Rust Stain Removal from Carpet 1.Vacuum up as much of the rust as possible. 2.Saturate the stain with lemon juice and allow it to sit for 5 minutes. 3.Using a clean, white towel or several paper towels, blot the rust stain to remove as much of the lemon juice as possible. 4.Using a solution of dishwashing detergent and water, re-saturate the rust stain and gently scrub with a toothbrush or small scrub brush. Scrub only within the borders of the stain as this can spread it. The purpose of the scrubbing is to loosen the rust from the carpet so it can be removed. 5.blot the area dry once more. Repeat until the stain has been removed.
- Q: Do I Put the floor base moulding in before or after I carpet.. It would make sense to do it before because after to patch up the nail holes and repaint it you dont have to worry about getting paint on the carpet but it wont looks as large as the carpet would cover up a portion of it.. So my question is what is the proper time to put it in? Thanks
- Put the base boards on before the carpet is installed. If you ever need to replace the carpet in the future you wont have to remove all the base boards to do it. The carpet installer uses tack strips at all wall areas to hold the carpeting. Once the carpet is installed you will need to touch up the finish on the base boards do to some scratches that the carpet installer will cause. I'm a builder 30 years.
- Q: I am wondering as a general question how many rugs would you need im talking about bare minimal if you do not intend to show your horse but clip it so that it does not sweat alot while exercising. please list the rugs you feel are essential to have in the climate of south east england thanks so much for your time xx
- In winter my pony is fully clipped and wears: -An under rug with full neck (Masta) -A stable rug (fairly heavy, not sure on brand - fairly old) -If it is very cold, he'll have a Masta fleece on under both rugs Before he comes in during the winter he wears: -Heavyweight or middleweight turnout depending on the weather In the summer: -Lightweight turnout rug if raining -Fly sheet if flies are bad and it's not overly warm - a couple of years ago they were sweating buckets in fly rugs, so it was decided they would wear them if and when needed. His turnout rugs are Masta and I think he has a Horseware Ireland one too. Fly sheets are Masta and either Rambo or Horseware Ireland (I forget which) If it's cold and we're travelling him to a show, he has a Royston fleece.
- Q: I'm going to remove laminate that's already on it, I was wondering, before installing this carpet, I'm going to have Luna do it since they install it for free.Do I need anything under the carpet/on the floor before they install the carpet?(I heard people put wood or baseboard or something under the carpet, then like some soft pads or something. - I don't know much, but I would install some sort of padding under the carpet - the floor people should do it with the installation of the carpet (if you purchase it from them). The company you purchase the carpet from should also know this. Good luck! PS - get a thickness of padding that goes with your carpet - plush carpet may need less padding. One thing things to consider - Is there enough height under my door to fit carpet and padding? (Or will I have to cut the door down?) Also, if you don't have a thin and hard carpet, then you will have to get a plastic-floor thing to roll your chair on (if you have a rolling char).
