- Q: I got a puppy and a kitten at basically the same time, so needless to say, the carpets need to be deorderized so they will not be tempted to keep peeing on them again.I heard you needed to basically douse it in Natures Miracle, let that dry and then sprinkle baking soda on it for 2 days then vacuum up. But when i sprayed it down the carpet got ripply and did not dry flat for some reason... it seems like it is ruined!What do i do now with this carpet? is there a way to make it flat again? and how do i deodorize the rest of them in the house?Please help
- i use vanish spray to get rid of stain and smell get a cat litter tray for the kitten and the puppy mite be tempted to use it as well. Febreeze is good to deodorise the rest of the house.

- Just an average carpet ( which you can get cheaper or pay more) will be around 3/3.50 a s/f. Carpet comes 12 foot wide so the smallest pc you can get to fit your room is a pc 12x9' 6 Thats 114 s/f and at the low end ( you can still get cheaper) of 3$ a s/f thats 342$,, This won t include rip up and disposal and furniture moving ( which you can do all that yourself) . Going with a black carpet ( which will show ever thing) you will limit your self in selection and black carpet generally runs more since its hard to get a consistent dye on carpet being this dark. It depends do you want your rug to last 10-30 years or forever. Hand knotted rugs get passed down from generation to generation. If you like to remodel frequently I would suggest hand-tufted, if you'd like to keep the piece I would suggest hand knotted. Purchase the rug you love. Hand knotted rugs are quite expensive compared to hand-tufted and machine made area rugs. Approximate cost comparison of 5 x 7 area rugs. Machine made area rug $100-$500. Hand- tufted would be $300-$800 Hand-knotted will be $400-$1000 Take care.
