Thanks!: I really hate to say it but with urine, you are in for the long haul and will eventually rip the carpet up. I have tried everything. I don't know why urine is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO incredibly pervasive but it won't go away. You can steam clean the spots up, but the urine is way, way down at the floor line, and when the cleaning water begins to dry up, the reconstituted urine will simply wick back through the carpet fibers and start the whole process over again. OTC remedies are a waste of money and DO NOT work.

Q: I keep a super clean litter box, sometimes she goes in it sometimes she doesn't. The bath rug is literally a foot away from her litter box.
