Q: I need to know if its okay to put a bleach mixture on a white bath rug. Would it mess up the fabric? (was a gift from my husband grandmother)
If it's washable, then yes, you can wash it with detergent and add some bleach; fill the washer and add detergent and bleach first, then the rug. I wouldn't do it too many times, though.
Q: I have a carpeted hallway and it gets very dirty from people, prams etc. Can anyone tell me the best cleaner to use?
This Site Might Help You. RE: Best high traffic carpet cleaner? I have a carpeted hallway and it gets very dirty from people, prams etc. Can anyone tell me the best cleaner to use?
Q: My eight month old son just popped the lid and coverede himself and the carpet!!
Carpet cleaner and then add boiling water. After this, make sure you scrub really really hard and make certain that the carpet is completely dry, use a hair drier if you have to, because you don't want mold under the carpet. This should remove it, it removes most carpet spills except things like ink.
Q: Hello I have a repti carpet coming today or tomorrow for my leopard gecko, so I'm just wondering how do I clean the repti carpet?Do I need to clean it with disinfectant liquid or can it go in the washing machine?
Reptile Carpet
Q: what is a jewelled rug?
i think you may be talking about a jewel toned rug. jewel tone colors are bright, deep, and saturated, jewel tones in red, blue, purple, green and yellow can add graphic punch to any room. go to the target website and search for jewel tone rugs. they have a pic of one. hope this helps!
Q: i dont have enough money to re-carpet my floor. for my room my dad says that it would cost about $500. but we dont have enough spare money for that kind of thing (we're saving for disney.) but i hate my carpet! it has stains all over it that i cant get out. and its a girly periwinkle color. he said that i can re-paint it. but i cant paint it the color i want because the carpet wont work with it. i dont know what to do. my room is SO tiny as it is and i dont like it very much already. my parents have the biggest room (obviously) my older brother has the second biggest, my little brother has the third (i could have had it but it has green walls and red carpet) and my older sisters room is the same size as my little brother's. what is an alternative to recarpeting my room so i dont have to pay as much??? is there ANY ideas, anything that might help is appretiated, thanks!!!
imitation hardwood flooring... cleans well, and wears well. you can get it much cheaper than carpeting
Q: Because carpet is soft...
The carpet may be soft, but your chin is a very sensitive part of your body. It never comes in contact with anything - unlike your hands - and it never builds up callous or protective tissue. It is also home to a lot of receptors - so when you rub your chin against the carpet, you are giving it a friction burn and that hurts. Not sure why you might want to rub your chin against the carpet in the first place, but that's why it hurts.
Q: What's the living room carpet for?
1, warmth: carpet on the ground cooling has obstructing effect. At the same time can also play a role in saving indoor air-conditioning energy;2, walking comfort: walking on the carpet will make people feel comfortable and leisurely, reduce fatigue;3, sound absorption and noise insulation: carpet and other ground materials, compared with a good sound-absorbing effect, to absorb telephone and other noise, is to become quiet at home;
Q: I need help removing odours from our carpet. We're renting at the moment and the carpet was pretty grubby when we moved in but we've cleaned it up a fair bit with a wet/dry vaccuum cleaner. We've had a litter of puppies recently though and as puppies do, they've had a few accidents on the carpet. The carpet now has a urine smell in it and I'm trying to get rid of it but not sure what to use. I've tried using teatree/eucalyptus oil, and a few carpet cleaners. They work removing the stains but not the smell. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
I really hate to say it but with urine, you are in for the long haul and will eventually rip the carpet up. I have tried everything. I don't know why urine is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO incredibly pervasive but it won't go away. You can steam clean the spots up, but the urine is way, way down at the floor line, and when the cleaning water begins to dry up, the reconstituted urine will simply wick back through the carpet fibers and start the whole process over again. OTC remedies are a waste of money and DO NOT work.
Q: I keep a super clean litter box, sometimes she goes in it sometimes she doesn't. The bath rug is literally a foot away from her litter box. She's 1yrs old, fixed and is good behaved except for that. Ive washed the rugs, got new ones, tried different material rugs, everything... the rugs have all had rubber backing. I remember I had a rug w/ out the rubber backing I don't think she pee'd on that 1. Could it be the rubber or something? We moved a few months back could that be a reason?
It's common for cats to begin eliminating outside of their litter box when they have a medical problem. For example, a urinary tract infection or crystals in the urine can make urination very painful. Cats often associate this pain with the litter box and begin to avoid it. It may be a behavior problem, but that is usually not it. I would take her to the vet for a checkup, because only he can tell you for sure. With medicine and a correct diet, if it is crystals, they can be desolved. With a male cat they can be fatal if not treated immediately.
