Q: My carpets are heavyly stained, i have shampooed them using bleach, but the resalt i want is to bleach them as close to white, or clean i can get . Ihave to small children in the house to think about too! Then you get a heavy duty carpet cleaner and a Bottle of Resolve and clean away. If that doesn't work then you are probably going to have to get a new carpet. And don't give up after the first try.....if it is as dirty as it sounds it is....you are going to have to go over it several times.

Q: are house is getting new flooring and i was wondering wats better hard wood flooring or carpet?: Hardwood floors. I had a choice, hardwood floors or carpeting. Made the wrong choice and picked wall to wall carpeting. Too much work for me. Don't like to vacuuming, it's a pain in my butt. When my cat gets sick it's always on the carpeting even though tile is right there. I think she does this on purpose. I'm convinced she was out to get me. I finally said, ENOUGH! and had to admit once again I made the wrong choice. Ripped it all up and put down laminate. I love it. It's strong, doesn't scratch, easy to clean, especially with cat around. Give me a soft dust mop any day. Easy clean all the way around. Don't have real wood floors. Chose laminate because it's stronger and doesn't need to be sanded and redone. My opinion, my opinion only.

I recommend having a professional carpet cleaning company with a truck mounted steam cleaner come and give you their assessment on the carpet. Ask them if they think they can get the carpet clean. If not, don't have them do it, as you will be wasting your time and money. As far as the carpet replacement goes, depending on your location ( I'm located in the Midwestern United States) You can figure on about $10.00 a square yard, depending on the installers agreement with the complex and the quality of the carpet and pad it could be a little more or a little less, but $10.00 is a pretty safe estimate.. This is then deducted from you deposit check before it is sent to you. If the carpet is in reasonable condition then you are not charged anything for the automatic steam cleaning that takes place when a tenant moves out. GOOD LUCK!!!

Q: We've lived in our house for almost two years and have the most annoying rug in the living room. It sheds constantly and it's like having a pet! Q: Had sears come out twice to clean the carpet. Its a special carpet that Im keeping but the smell of urine is strong. I have had people out twice using a pet deodorizer on it and steam cleaning it numerous times already? Is there a certain product that I can use or something else because im trying to save this rug. This rug, if valuable, needs to go to a shop for special treatment, if the pets are still part of the equation, do not place it on the floor or the peeing will start over, guaranteed.

Q: dried into wool rug: steam clean the rug and then apply a product called Urine Gone. it works really well. After about an hour or so, stem clean the rug again.
