Q:I have light gray carpet in my SUV I have tried several cans of stuff and nothing seems to work.Any suggestions?: just take a bucket of soapy water and scrub it down. take the dome light fuse out, open all the doors and let it dry.

Thank you!lt;3: If you mean wall to wall carpeting, you just have to check at carpet stores until you find the colour you want. They might or might not have every colour in stock but you can look at their samples. If you mean an area rug, it will be really hard to find. I looked for a teal-tone area rug for a couple of years until I found one at Ikea. You can have carpet off a roll cut to size and bound on the edges, too, for an area rug.

Q:I got ash stains on the carpet, some is burnt, which I cut off, but the rest is just stained by the ash. What should I use to clean the carpet?: Carpet cleaner - get a bristle brush and some carpet cleaner ( resolve works well ) Spray the cleaner on the carpet and after a few minutes brush the stain. You might have hard wood flooring under it. If so, just rip the carpet up. You'll have a gorgeous floor and it will cost you nothing. Even if the floor needs sanding and re-staining, you'll have a beautiful floor for a very small investment. You can rent Sanding Machines from Lowe's and Home Depot. And Stains don't cost much. I already figured out the paint part, I'm just not sure what all is needed to install carpet.: carpet pad and carpet . go online to get prices;;;carpet tape to join the seams $10;;;rent a knee kicker to stretch it $20,,a peice of metal trim $10,, some pad glue $10.;;;Box of tack strip that goes around the edge of the floor to stretch the carpet on to$50 ;;;razor knife $5;; seaming iron rental $20.. google how to install carpet so you see what these things are.

Q:would it look funny if i had the fuzzy white rug on it because i really want one!!!!: I was unable to open the links but I have seen this done on home decor shows before. If the bottom rug is much larger than the top one, it can look perfectly fine. People do this a lot to cover stains on wall to wall carpet when they can't afford to replace it. Buy the fur rug if you like it, if it doesn't work on the blue rug, put it elsewhere or return it. You have to follow your gut on this one.

Q:I noticed that my carpet has holes in it. there are tiny areas where the carpet strands are gone/eaten/disappeared/burned/etc and i don't know what it is. Also, around the area it is black or has black stuff left on the carpet (light brown carpet color). Any ideas as to what it is? How to stop it? Fix it? [also the only pets i have are fish]: there's a few things that live in carpets or breed there. but moths are the ones that are famous for holes. the larvae eat the rug then become moths. If you're lucky a little flea spray and the worms will come up so you can see them. start using boric acid or diatomaceous earth (buy the kind for this use not the pool filter material). sprinkle on carpet and brush deep with broom. Vacuum more regularly and put down more boric acid every few months at least.

Q:Will skateboarding on carpet ( or maybe anyhting) with just the skateboard deck ,( no wheels, trucks), improve the actual tricks on the real thing? Use the floor dilution. You can also dilute laundry detergent and use that, but you might have to go back over it and rinse it. I'd recommend getting a carpet cleaner. I really like hoover's pet odor formula, even if you don't have pets, it really makes the carpets clean, smell great and repel stains.
