Q: We just moved into a condo about 3 weeks ago... and we have white carpet. I accidently dropped my ashtray onto the floor of my room, and its caused a HUGE black stain....in a very obvious place! I've tried alot of the carpet cleaners.... and its seeming to just make it worse....can someone help?!: don't get white carpets in the future, buy a new one! Good luck!

Padding under carpet is even more important than the carpet itself. Whether you are buying the lower, middle or top end carpet, you should always buy the most expensive padding. It will make all the difference in the feel of the carpet as well as how it wears. And it is not that expensive. Hardwoods these days should be the pre-done floors that Bruce and all hardwood companies have been doing for years. Because they are cut and polyurethaned in house they are stronger and more durable than floors that are raw cut, laid, and only a couple of coats of poly done. When your contractor lays hardwood floors, they also lay the wood moldings.

Q: hey just wondering is there any big difference between a rug with leg straps and a rug with a tail chord?: not really any big difference. Only that rugs or blankets with tail chords have one chord running behind the horse while rugs with leg straps go in between the horse's legs. Rugs with tail chords would be better for a horse who is stall kept who doesn't move around as much. The tail chord isn't the best for keeping a rug in place, especially when the horse is running around. Some owners don't like to use them because their horse developed a habit of using the chord to rub their tail Rugs with leg straps keep the rug in place and keep it straighter when the horse is moving around. Try moving it to another room and see if your cat still goes on it. If it does then it's the rug. You can toss it and get a new one or keep it and put it under the litter box.
