- Q: they are 4months old, a boy girl, fixed.they keep scratching and pulling up the edges so that its coming up in strings/scrunched threads. I've tried blocking the area with objects, and a scratching post, b4 but they just go behind it somehow or go find somewhere else to pull up the rug. i've tried to remove them from the area when they do and say things like no off..but of course being cats they dont listen to me :(how can i make them stop????????????? any help would be amazing! thanks in advance!!
- hey sweetie,thanks for answering my question!!xx my advise may seem abnormal or even crazy but if u leave orange peels or even full 2ltre bottles of water in the corners of ur rug and orange peels on a plate lol, the orange citrus scent cats hate and the water in the bottles they are afraid of or unsure of,my mum and granny done it for their gardens as they had no bother with cats inside and it worked a treat!! also.If it does not work im sorry but it should! keep me updated petxoxo hope ive helpedxxxx

- I don't think a purl stitch rug is a standard thing that would have a video. It sounds like a design made specifically for that book. The thing is, there is no need to purl a whole rug when it is generally easier to knit than to purl, and a purl is just the back side of a knit stitch. So you could knit the whole thing in whatever shape you like and just turn it over to have a purl stitch rug.
