Product Introduction: ISG series single-stage single-suction vertical pipeline centrifugal pump is the second generation of high efficiency energy-saving product designed by our company based on many years of production experience as per the performance parameters stated in the internatonal standard ISO2858 and the national standard JB/T6878.2-93.It is an ideal substitute for normal pumps like SG and D multi-stage centifugal pumps. The series has a flow range of 1.5-1600m3/h and a lift head range of 5-125m, which includes many specifications like basic, diversion and cutting types. According to the difference in working medium and temperature as well as meterial and structural changes of the flow-through part, it can designed and manufactured into TPRG hot water pump,IHG pipeline chemical pump and YG pipeline oil pump with the same performance parameters. Accordingly, this series can be widely applied to replaced the normal centrifugal pump completely to be used in all cases. Working Conditions: 1.Suction pressure ≤1.0MPa, or the maximum working pressure of pump system ≤1.6MPa, namely pump suction pressure +pump delivery head≤1.6MPa, pump static tes pressure at 2.5MPa. Please specify the working pressure of the system when placing an oeder. To acquired working pressure of pump system greater than 1.6MPa should be specified separately when placing an order for our conenience to use 2.Ambient temperature<40℃,relative humidity<95%. 3.Volume content of solid particles in medium to be delivered shouldn′t exceed 0.1% of unit volume, granularity<0.2mm. Note: to handle medium carring small particals, please specify when placing an order for our convenience to use wear resistant mechanical seal. Rang of Application: Daily and fire water supply for constructions, air conditioning system, cyclic pressurization for other cold and hot clean medium. - Q:I would like to know that a water pump or water motor which is of 1 hp what is the height from which it can pull water ? And also if there is a bubbling sound of air and no water is being supplied what does it mean ?
- You say that your pump used to operate properly before, so if the pump is in good condition, the lift mustn't be too great so we can rule that out. It appears to me that the gurgling sound would be made by sucking air, and for this to happen, it would be a problem on the inlet side of the pump. If the person who repaired the pump knows what he is doing, it shouldn't be the pump, so we can rule that out. That leaves the pipe and any fittings between the pump and the foot valve that should be on the end of the pipe. Try running the pump, and pouring water over all joints and fittings, one at a time, if the pump is working properly, a slurping sound will be heard at the leak. The pump will have a priming point, a screw in plug, somewhere on top of it. With the pump stopped, remove the plug, and pour water into the hole. You should be able to fill the pump right up, and the water remain at that level, without draining away. If it wont retain the water, the valve on the bottom of the pipe is either worn out or has something like a stone or gravel preventing it from operating properly. As you have disconnected this pump for repairs, it would have needed priming anyway, which is the filling up with water. It's too much to ask a dry pump to lift water any height, so maybe you don't have a problem at all. Good luck
- Q:The water pump doesn't seem to be leaking but I do have a leak under the engine in a place I can't get to. The water doesn't seem to be getting to the upper hoses of the engine. I do hear a odd sound like lose rocker arms but its hard to tell where its coming from. This engine is to big for this boat there is no room to work on it except to pull the engine. What was Four Winns thinking??? A simple fix is a major repair. Thanks
- Just like you do on the car since they are built somewhat the same. Most engine water pumps for cars have weep holes one on top and one below the water pump shaft. When the seal goes it will leak from the holes. Second test is grab the shaft or pulley and move it up and down and side to side without the belt on it and if it clicks or moves around its bad. Or remove the pump and check to see if the impeller is broken off or missing..
- Q:cars leaking coolant from the right side just dont kno if its the water pump
- Water pump will be at the front center of the engine usually about 2 behind the fan belt Please be very careful never to allow the vehicle to run low on coolant or serious and expensive engine damage will occur. If in doubt don't drive it until its fixed Take a flashlight and take a good look over the whole engine compartment giving close attention to all the hoses connecting the engine to the radiator its best to find the exact location of the leak and get it fixed.Coolant leaks usually leave a discolored stain so this may help in finding it. Also take a look at the carpet on both front floorpans of the vehicle its possible that the cars heater may have failed and this will leak coolant all over either 1 or both floor pans which can then leak out on to the ground below via a drain hole.
- Q:I have a 2002 Honda Civic Ex sedan with about 105k miles. Sometime before 110k I need to get the timing belt replaced. At about 95k my mechanic asked if I wanted to replace the timing belt and the water pump. According to the owners manual the timing belt must be replaced, but it simply says check the water pump.I don't want to pay for unnecessary repairs, but I also know that both of these jobs are quite involved, but can be done together fairly easily. Is there anything I can do to check myself or do I just have to trust my mechanic when I take it in. Also, what is the cost difference between the timing belt job and adding in the water pump at the same time?
- just me 1 water pumps last 150k and 15 yrs usually 2 change belt sooner than later 3 if you r keeping car 5 yrs more change wp too 4 its a as long as its apart do it saving future labor
- Q:I went to have my car inspected for a leak at a friendly garage I know. They said I need a new water pump and in the mean time just keep the levels always checked and filled. Is it safe to drive for a while or can the pump totally fail and overheat the engine. As far as I know it's just leaking at this stage, the pulley and belts are fine.
- Yes it could fail and end up doing more damage then just fixing it now.Pay now or pay more later if something happens.
- Q:the pump is pumping hot wtaer from the hot water tank around the domestic hot water system, i.e to taps and shower.
- Depends on the type of pump, but for your garden variety type pump, there is a impeller of some sort that is turned by the motor to pump the water. The actual shaft of the motor is not in contact with the water (except where the impeller is attached to the shaft). A common type of failure mode here is when the seals on the shaft (which keep the water contained to the impeller area) have failed and water has gotten past the shaft seal and degraded the bearings holding the shaft = seizing up.
- Q:the water pump from the factory has an extra hole coming out the side its the smaller one on the end of this pic.
- This is your recirculating pump. If it is a marine pump, it will have a brass backed seal and no heater hose outlet. (have seen them in the casting, but no hole there) The only difference is the casting, as long as it was ordered for the boat, you should be OK. For got to ask, do you have a cabin heater in the boat?
- Q:I think the water pump in my Oceanic BioCube is going up. What is a good brand that would be compatible? It is 29 gallons. Thanks.
- If okorder or just your local pet store and see if you can't buy a pump with a similar/same output.
- Q:someone told me my water pump may be going out and it sounds like their is a loose barron inside of it, so how much is it and and if i was to have someone else to fix it how much will it cost me
- This should be a V6 engine correct. if looking at front of engine, toward the belt , the water pump is located behind pulley appox. 5 inches on the side toward radiator. highest pulley on right side of engine. Replacement can be performed easily without many special tools.. First loosens each of the pulley bolts on pump. Then release tension on belt and route away from pulley. Remove remaining pulley bolts and pulley , Water pump has 5 bolts holding it to cover assembly, Mark-index the way pump installs and remove. Clean all gasket material. Install new pump and gasket, refill system and to open air blled on cooler pipe near water pump to allow air to escape.
- Q:My water pump broke on my volkswagen golf tdi so I took it to a garage. He charged me ?250 for a new pump and fitting. When I came to collect it he showed me the broken water pump, when I asked if I could keep the broken pump that was taken out of my car he said that there would be quite a quot;heftysurcharge for me to take it with me because they have to send them back to Volkswagen. I thought it was a bit strange. Is that normal?
- What you're talking about is what we in America call a Core charge. If I buy a new water pump for my car and take it home to do it myself, the pump is going to cost me $80. There is also a core charge of another $20 from the parts store that I use. So I'm paying $100 to take home my water pump. However, if I were to have brought in my old pump to exchange it...then I would only pay the $80 for the part. Or if I took it home at $100 and then returned the old one after I got my car fixed...then they'd give me the the $20 back. The reason for this is that a lot of companies can recondition these parts and make them as good as new. This is a hell of a lot cheaper than buying new components to make new parts. Say a water pump is leaking only because the seals in it are failing. They can take it apart, replace the seals (and anything that looks like it needs replacing, clean it all up, and put it back together. And that reconditioned water pump (which has a warranty that's the same as the new part and often times better) would usually be sold for $60. So likely that's what's going to happen to it. It'll go back to VW so they can re-manufacture it and recycle it for use in another car that needs a water pump.
