XLPE insulated power cable has a number of advantages over paper insulated and PVC insulated cable.XLPE power cable has high electric strength,mechanical strength,high-ageing resisting,environmetal stress resisting antichemical corrossion,and it is simple construction,using convenient and higher operating of long term temperature.It can be laid with no drop restriction.

- Nothing would happen. The box just won't work. It will need activated to work. It is not likely the provider will pursue you for connecting an unactivated box. Some providers trap out all TV for internet/phone only providers, some will trap out most TV.

- Yes, your controls, electric, throttle/ shift and steering will work just fine. Mercury did not change the electric harness plug till 2006. The other option you have is to replace the powerhead on the 90 with a Mercury reman. See what the cost difference would be. Don't forget, you will need to reprop the 40 for the pontoon boat.

- Yes and no. First, the physical size of you modem does not matter in the least. There are three issues determining your bandwidth throughput. One is the amount of bandwidth being provided across the pipe by your cable company. The second, as you pointed out, is the modem specifications. Third, since several people share a cable internet connection, the number of people on line at anytime and your physical proximity to the central office, also affect the bandwidth/speed of your connection. If you truly think you have a modem issue, take it to the local cable office and ask for a newer one.

- Most likely not unless you are paying for both boxes. The cable boxes are individually coded and Cox has control of the activation/authentication codes. However, you can always plug it in and see if it works. Maybe by some luck, the box may still be active. If not, call Cox and have them activate the second box. Hope this helps!

- The series 2 has a cable ready analog tuner built in to it. If you only want to record non-scrambled analog cable programing, then you can connect your Tivo directly to the cable jack. If you want to record premium (scrambled) analog programs or digital programing, then you need to use a cable box. The series 2 included an IR Blaster which can be used to control a cable box.
